We got the original Lovenest pillow when our baby was 2 months and we were told his head was flat and he may need a helmet if it did not get better. Well he is now 4 months and we have seen great progress with the pillow.We use it so much (at night he still sleeps with no pillow) that it has become flattened on one side. I decided we should get a new one and when I saw the Lovenest Plus I thought I would give it a try.It just arrived and I am SO HAPPY. It is actually thicker and more padded than the original style pillow (about 2x as thick) and it is a perfect step up for his now larger head.I think the age recommendations on the listing should be changed. I believe the Lovenest Plus pillow would have been too large for my baby when he was younger. I would recommend the orignal Lovenest for 0-2 months and the Lovenest Plus for 3+ months. I wish I had purchased this when my baby was 3 months.

Bought it for my 2 month old after doctor said thrs slight indication of flat head developing on left as baby kept looking in that direction most. But my baby kept moving head to left despite this pillow. So it didn't help much. Luckily moving his favorite glider toy to right yielded much better results.

I just washed it with the deft baby detergent and you can’t put it in the dryer so it’s air drying but it’s AWESOME! My son loves it, when he’s not doing tummy time he’s on this in his bassinet (not all the time but when I’m trying to clean and put things away it’s a godsend!)! HIGHLY recommend, especially to preemie moms like me, Elijah was born 4 months early and he’s flourishing!

So my baby was on the road to flat head. I freaked out and found this product because people were saying he would need a helmet and this that whatever and he hated tummy tiny. Anyways, so I picked up this product and for an entire month and a half I used it in bassinet (at my own risk, I understand my babies sleep patterns), on his 4moms ru, any flat surface he laid, diaper table. Consistently being used it became a little bit dirty, easy to wash with the extra stain remover spray. I notice a huge difference in my babies head. I don't know if it was time and nature itself or the pillow but his head started to round out during this period, so I'm really happy with the outcome.I stopped using it in bassinet when baby started rotating body in his sleep*****

I was worried about my baby daughter getting some flatness of the one side of her head as she was only sleeping on that side. I purchased this after her doctor mentioned it for two appointments in a row. My daughter seems very comfortable while laying on it and it really does help keep her head straight. Very well made with nice quality fabric and memory foam. It’s been perfect for her so far. She’s been using it for over a month now and she’s 2 3/4 months right now.

I bought this for my 14 week old when I noticed his head wasn't as round as it should be. I wish I had it sooner! This review is for the plus/premium version. He's been using it for a week consistently(any time he is placed laying on his back) and it has made such a difference! His head is back to being more round again! He is becoming more and more wiggly and he did manage to move completely off of it 1 time, but it has far exceeded my expectations. I do check his positioning often and he is held a lot, but when I can't hold him I'm glad I have this!

The media could not be loaded.  Product is good. Baby uses it whenever on her back. But the cover is not removable wash. Got this because she may need a helmet for slight flatness which I do not want. Trying to head shape but not sure if pillows work.

I know when it comes to your newborn, reviews are mixed and important.This pillow worked great for us. Our daughter had a little flatness on the SIDE of her head, and we were trying to get her to lay with her head up and down.Nothing is perfect, but this one is really close! We tried a few different ones..Not plush enough to have to worry about suffocation, so that's great!They'll turn some still, but not completely to the left or right.Do not buy the cheaper one of this, buy the plus! It's worth it.I do wish this one was even a bit deeper, but as mentioned nothing is perfect.Again, if you're between the this and the same companies cheaper one, that doesn't say "plus" buy this one.

I never write reviews but I needed to write this one to save some headache. I really wanted to like this pillow but the design is a little flawed. My newborn’s head was quite round and I wanted to keep it that way so I started using it after my newborn turned one month. At around 8 weeks old I noticed that although it distributed the head weight evenly, it had created a very flat spot on his head in the back so his head looked very conelike! It was very sloped from front to back- very high. And the part in the pillow where there is a hole is where his skull was just slightly rounded weirdly. Panicking, I stopped using it and bought another softer fabric pillow on amazon, that’s more donut like and within a week his head has noticeably rounded out again. Whew. Save your money and go for a softer pillow. This foam one is just too hard for a newborn’s soft head and if the head isn’t completely symmetrical and round it’s going to sink into the pillow all wrong.

I recently purchased the lovenest pillow for my 2 month old baby. We were so excited to use it until our son's head shape would fix up, but there's a very strong chemical smell from the foam. It isn't going away and it made my baby's head smell today.I am extremely anxious now about his health and inhaling this. I looked up at memory foams emitting odors that can cause lung damage. Why on earth would you use a toxic smelling memory foam for INFANTS? This is dangerous and morally unacceptable!! I am surprised this is still being sold and that you haven't been sued.For 30 bucks, I expected a good quality product, not a chemical smelling harmful pillow.I really pray this was not harmful to my son. You should be ashamed of yourself and should stop selling this.

The chemical smell is so potent from this pillow that I can’t imagine how anyone in their right mind would put an infant on it. It’s quite strong and I can smell it just by holding it in front of me. Not sure what the quality standard was in producing this infant item but it smells like plastic of some sort. Absolutely horrible!These types of emissions are what cause SIDS -

If you're looking for an infant's pillow to prevent flat head this is the pillow you need. It is well designed and functions as it intends to. I used a different pillow before, the rectangular one that also has a hollow space in the middle, but after using it for a few days it made my newborn have slight flat spot on the back of his head; the hollow space didn't support the head well. But that is not the case with this pillow. Compared to the other pillows, the hollow space on this one has ample cushioning on the rim so the head of the baby is not laying flat on a surface.

It’s exactly what I expected, nice and soft almost like memory foam feel to it. It also had a great non slip type of backing which is great! I noticed others mention the tag in the reviews but it’s not so bad and just cut it off if you are really worried about it.
