Telescope for Kids - 90x Magnification, Includes Three Eyepieces, Tabletop Tripod and Moon Lens, Portable Refractor Telescope for Children and Beginners

This is a telescope for beginers so do not expect much from it. It however does the job. The tripod is mini so it may need a stand, i would have preferred a full tripod. This is good for children to explore around, it was easy to put together. The control knobs work fine. It is good for the price of you do not have expectaions of the expensive telescopes.

My grandson is in the spectrum, and is obsessed with science. He has a new night time ritual , he must check the sky every night, he loves this gift!

This was easy enough to piece together the bulk of it; however, there are no instructions as to which lens to use for varying images. There is no guide to show how lenses fit together or how to adjust focal power. When I look through the lens at a near full moon, I only see the arc of a dim light. If this one piece was added, I sense this would be a great value. My son was so excited to use it, but we're unable. Updated: we’ve tried many more times and can only see black out. This is entirely useless. Will try to return but it’s been a year and appears Chinese made.

I got this for my 3 year old. Just thought it'd be fun watching the night sky with her. It's very easy to assemble and comes with instructions manual. Probably took me less than 10 minutes to put everything together. It's very light weight even with all the parts attached. Couldn't see much as it's a beginner telescope. Still had fun teaching my kid and looking at the moon and the night sky.

The packaging is a bit lacking but what’s inside is sleek and shiny. I tested this out on some stars before gifting it to my five year old nephew. I hope this can inspire him to learn about astronomical bodies so we can upgrade to a more advanced telescope as this one is basic for beginners. I set this up to use with my nephew. The moon was really crisp and clear and quite amazing to see for myself, however, my nephew asked if it was an egg.

I bought this a few months ago to put away for my sons birthday. He opened it, and the quality is poor. The lens has a crack/scratch on it, so when you look through it, you see a crack/scratch from top to bottom. Unfortunately I can’t get a refund as it is past the duration to return. Would not recommend to others.
