Evaluating Training Programs: The Four Levels (3rd Edition)

Excellent and relevant book for evaluation of training programs. I read this book while getting my Masters in Learning Design. The book is an easier read than most books in this field and the author is one of the most renowned Evaluator's of our generation. He explains concepts which you can certainly use in the workplace, and has case studies to back up his theories.

A very quick and easy explanation of the Kirkpatrick 4 Levels of Evaluation Model. Can be applied immediately with case studies to help you understand how to effectively apply the steps.

Purchased as a required book for class. It is well written and easy to understand. Implementing the book learning into my projects is easy especially with the detailed case studies.

I have been evaluating programs since 1973 and endorse this approach to evaluating training programs. The book contains engrossing actual examples of evaluations from agencies and firms of every type.

This is a good book for anyone who needs to have an advanced understanding of Level I,II,III and IV surveys. Dr. Kirkpatrick is an expert in data interpretation and this manual helps to get you down the right road. Excellent Read.

This book is easy to read and understand with examples of how to apply the four levels of evaluation.

I found this book to be rather dry reading. I real the material because I have to, not because I find it interesting. Its style does not "grab" the reader and hold their interest.

My second purchase of a classic best seller.
