Capacity is in line with rivals
I discharged one cell in my battery tester and it came in at 2740mAh capacity. This is about in line with the spec for this battery. Varta do have a Longlife Max Power range, this is rated to just under 3000mAh (ie a bit more than these, but not a lot). The Duracell industrial pro AA is rated to 3125mAh (about as good as it gets for an AA alkaline)Expectations are met for an alkaline battery and the cost is fine.

Useful batteries
These batteries are ideal for your remote controls, torches etc. Quite long lasting and reasonably priced with good packaging. There's not a lot more to say on the subject of batteries, but we all need them and Varta is a quality brand that I am happy to recommend.
