Not one instruction
I had to look it up online AFTER it stated I needed a SIM card, but DIDN'T say what size, so 20 minutes after I've gotten it, there is a SIM card stuck in the SD card slot and the thing is now useless. Infuriating is not strong enough a word.

Great, reliable and durable tablet
My one year old baby LOVES this tablet. Very durable and easy to use. Make sure you get the thick kids case with the handle on it if you are using for babies.

Decent tablet, but good luck unlocking it from T-Mobile
I have a Wi-Fi-only tablet that I love, but for a recent trip to the UK, I wanted a cellular-capable tablet so I could use it while out & about. Google Maps may work on my phone, but it's a lot easier to see on an 8-inch tablet!I recognized that this was a T-Mobile tablet, but Google Fi uses T-Mobile towers, among others. I installed a Google Fi data-only SIM in the tablet, and had no trouble getting a signal and getting on the Internet... here in the US. When I arrived in the UK, I could see the tablet was getting a signal, but it wouldn't log in on any network. (My unlocked Google Fi phone, however, worked fine for calls, text, and Internet access.) I didn't bother trying a UK data-only SIM because the tablet is locked to T-Mobile. Ended up using my phone for Google Maps after all.Back in the US, I went to a T-Mobile store to see about unlocking it. The CSR went looking on the tablet for T-Mobile's unlocking app, but it wasn't there. I told him this was a third-oarty refurb, and he said that's why the app was missing, and mentioned that you can't download the app from Play Store. You also can't download it from T-Mobile's site. I called T-Mobile Customer Service, and a woman named Charlie was very nice while writing up a service request to "the warehouse" so they would contact me within 24-48 hours. That was 4 days ago. I will call again and see if someone will help unlock this tablet. As for the tablet itself... It's a case of managing your expectations. If you expect a midrange tablet that was initially released in 2016 to perform like this year's top tablets (which cost as much as a decent laptop), you'll be disappointed. However, if your main uses are netsurfing, watching locally stored video, listening to locally stored music, streaming video/music, and playing the odd low-end game (I like the various incarnations of Bejeweled and Mahjong), you should be happy with this tablet, and be very happy about saving a lot of money. The screen isn't quite as good as my Samsung Galaxy Tab S, but it's perfectly watchable.Just be sure you're okay with the tablet being locked to T-Mobile...
