So Good It Deserves A Review!
I hardly ever write reviews but I feel compelled because this sled is awesome!! I bought this sled primarily to haul firewood length logs I've cut out in the woods behind my house during the winter. I haul the firewood out of the woods during the non-winter months using a Gorilla cart but, while the Gorilla cart is great, it isn't the best for some terrain because the land is a combination of hills, swampy-mud and rocks. When I bought this sled to haul standing-dead trees I had cut in winter, I couldn't believe how easy it was to haul the wood! It slides easily on as little as 1/64 of an inch of snow barely covering the leaves. If the leaves are completely covered with snow, it is even easier. It really reduces the effort needed to haul the wood. I can easily traverse the swampy-mud that are frozen in winter, the rocks, small bushes, downed tree limbs, etc... Beyond the wood hauling capabilities, we have used it for sledding. I am so disgusted with buying the cheap plastic snow sleds for $10 - $15 only to have it shatter into 20 different pieces the first day you use it to go sledding on a cold day. The cheap and thin plastic on cheap sleds shatters too easily. Buying those cheap sleds is just like throwing my money away. THIS SLED, on the other hand, is EXTREMELY HEAVY-DUTY! I went sledding with my 2 sons in this sled and even went over jumps that someone had built where we were sledding. So, 1 adult and 2 kids in this sled at the same time going over a jump that was about 1 foot tall, catching air and landing was nothing for this sled. I imagine that this sled it will easily last a lifetime. Highly recommended!!

Incredibly sturdy and perfect for my job
I bought this as one possible solution to assist in moving rocks down a slope in order to rebuild sections of a collapsed retaining wall / safety wall at the top of a sheer cliff. My problem was that the area near the retaining wall is steep and often wet in certain spots which makes it too risky to use heavy equipment. I had several workers try dollies and wheeled carts but they were very hard to stop the momentum once you're heading downhill with a lot of weight. I purchased this with low expectations and assumed it probably wouldn't last a day. I was very pleasantly surprised. This sled was unbelievably effective at solving my problem and I was able to move all the rocks much more easily by myself and much quicker than a group of workers with the wrong tools for the job. My rope was missing when it arrived so I can't speak to that, but I ended up finding a much longer rope suited my needs anyway. Using my zero turn mower, I moved countless piles of rocks, dirt, and cut trees limbs across grass on a downhill slope over several days..much bigger job than the pictures show. I couldn't lift many of the rocks off the ground but I was able to put the sled on its side and flip the rock into the sled easily. Some of the loads were probably over 150 pounds and I just pulled them downhill across the grass with my riding mower and then flipped them out at the destination. With the long rope and the zero turn, I was able to get good at turning sharply at speed guiding the sled to swing out against the retaining wall while I stayed on higher, less steep, ground. I thought it would crack, but came to realize that it is incredibly durable. It has enough flexibility to help it absorb a lot of punishment and it is still completely undamaged after a lot of abuse. I cracked the bottom of a Home Depot heavy duty plastic wheelbarrow on this same job earlier so I expected it would crack but it is not rigid which makes it much tougher. Some of the rocks were even wider than the sled, but it just bent out and bent back when unloaded. I know it just a molded piece of plastic but it sure made my life a lot easier. I use it constantly now for all kinds of lawn and garden jobs.

Great for hunting
The sled is very sturdy, slides easily across most surfaces and makes getting animals out of the woods much easier. I have been using this sled for about a month and have already gotten my moneys worth out of it. I have hauled 2 deer and one hog with it and also use it to float my gear in to some of my spots I access by water. It will slide over logs, tall grass and weeds and through cut overs much easier than a game cart. The one place the game cart beats the sled that I have found is on a open, well packed path or road that doesn’t have limbs or logs down on it. Outside of that scenario the sled wins hands down in my opinion. I will say that the hog was not actually easy to drag even in the sled but he was pretty big and without the sled I would have been up a creek. I added a heavy rope that I can put around my waist or over a shoulder and across my chest to help me drag it. The deer were no problem at all. I also added some loops of paracord down the sides to give me some tie down points (saw this on a YouTube video). The sled is not big enough to float a 200 pound person but I can put my deer stand, ladder sticks, bow, pack, and some other items in it and drag it behind a kayak or small boat when accessing hunting spots by water. I’ve been doing this to keep the weight down on the boat and keep it from being unstable. The sled works great for this and I haven’t had any issues with it so far. Over all I think it is a great addition to my hunting gear.

Great quality but missing rope
Very heavy duty sled. Worked great for sledding on sand dunes. My only complaint was it did not come with the pictured rope but luckily we had some on hand.

The jet sled is not just for ice fishing!
We love our “Jet Sled” it’s so convenient for winter walks and sledding. Fits two kids and one adult. This is super durable and has been through about 3 winters and continues to look brand new. I went back and forth on getting this vs. a wooden toboggan, and I’m happy I went with this as it continues to withstand ongoing use and doesn’t have as much wear as a wooden one would at this point. For the price point you can’t beat it, I recommend it to everyone with young kids!
