I picked up the car, and it has quickly become one of the most exciting RC vehicles I’ve ever used. This thing is an absolute beast on wheels. Whether on pavement, dirt, or grass, it handles like a much more expensive hobby-grade RC. I also love that it comes with 3000mAh batteries, providing plenty of runtime before needing a recharge. The controller is responsive and easy to learn, making it great for both beginners and more experienced RC fans. As a gift, this is a total winner. Cool RC but design problems. As other reviewers have stated, front wheels are way too toed out, and the trucks body shell rubs on both front and back wheels! Informed the seller - didn't care. Ridiculous, buy something else!

First and foremost, the Highmall 1:16 Brushless car is a speed demon. It reaches its max speed within a second or less, so keep that in mind if you're running it inside a home or in an enclosed space. Indoors, you'll need something the size of a gymnasium to provide adequate space for this vehicle to cruise around at full speeds. It's best suited for outdoors, and has plenty of power to crawl over smaller obstacles, through grass, dirt, over rocks, snow, etc. One major drawback is that the chassis cover needs to be trimmed around the front wheels, or the wheels will rub on the plastic chassis during sharp turns. A pair of kitchen scissors does the job quickly and easily, but it will detract from its aesthetics just slightly. Not sure how something this obvious gets overlooked when designing a RC car. It's pretty obvious that when turning the wheels right or left, the outer edge of the tire presses into the chassis. Aside from the wheels rubbing on the chassis, this car is fast and powerful, easy to set up and control, and seems fairly durable and it can be flipped over from jumps or obstacles without taking damage. The suspension smooths out the control and steering, and it's small enough to fit in a backpack or case for transport just about anywhere. Would recommend for 12 or older. Loses a star for the wheel-rubbing issue and some missing parts that I've contacted the seller about, but awaiting a response.

If I could give 0 stars I would! My son used his own money to buy this car! Got it delivered he got to play with it for a total of 5 minutes before the wheels fell off and lost the nuts that hold the wheels on!! Returned it! Got another he played with it for 5-10 minutes and the whole shock and control arm broke and the wheel fell off again! Returned and got money back ! The only thing good about the company is they are quick with returns/refunds

Honestly mind blowing how this thing can take abuse. Me and my boy have jumped this drove into concrete walls repeatedly and it just goes. Only flaw is wheel nut coming off after heavy use . Other wise awesome and goes way faster then advertised . I'd say easily goes 56mph or more and , you can tune the speed down , with the remote and set alignment of wheels all from remote .
