Quality inductive sensor
This is a very nicely built proximity sensor. It seems to be excellent quality for an inexpensive unit. The body is all stainless and threaded along its entire length for maximum flexibility in mounting. The wire end seems to be epoxied into a nicely fitting strain relief, and about 3 feet of cable is included for wiring flexibility. The included mounting nuts are about 3mm thick so mounting it flush in a panel would take some additional work to the panel or printing an insert for mounting and using a larger hole. It works as intended, although after more consideration I wound up deciding I should use a DC normally closed sensor for the project I got it for. But this sensor proved to me that it would work for my idea, and I will reuse it in another project where using AC directly is suitable. And based on this sensor and its quality, I'll look to Heschen for more sensors like this.

Works as expected. Solid construction.
Works as expected. Note this proximity sensor specifies AC voltage and not DC. Just saying, read the description carefully, speaking from experience, but yes, this works fine when provided with correct inputs. I didn't test it DC and I don't know if applying DC would damage it.
