I have given 5 stars as this was bought for my 5year old Granddaughter who had lost her normal water bottle at school and asked Grandpa if I would buy her a Air Up bottle to replace it. I actually have never heard of this product before, but it made my Granddaughter very, very happy, which makes Grandpa very happy. Also purple is her favourite colour and watermelon her favourite fruit so another tick in the box. I do however think the price is on the high side, (so is it value for money, that's questionable) I therefore hope she doesn't lose this one.. lol.. It was ordered late at night and delivered the very next day as promised by Amazon Prime....

Bought the mini sipper purple ‘Squid’ because I like the snazzy colour and to spice up all the water I’m drinking by adding a little flavour; without all the sugar and sweeteners or calories. It’s a funny concept which does actually work in my opinion. From the smell of the pods you somehow get the taste! It’s subtle though so don’t expect it to be like drinking actual fruit juice or soda. Works best if you have a strong sense of smell, I think. To prevent leakage you need to make sure the lid is on tight which always means the spout is facing you and the Air Up logo on the bottle faces the back. Some water can leak through the air hole if you tip it when it’s full. I admit this is inconvenient if you’re tossing it into a school bag or rucksack. They do say on the leaflet it’s best kept upright. 🤷🏼‍♀️ It’s true about the air bubbles you swallow whilst drinking because this is how the flavour works - air constantly travelling through the pod to send the smell up the back of your nose, which then tricks your brain into thinking it’s tasting something. A simple and ingenious idea! The lid pops open on a button but there’s no spring in the hinges to push it back, so you’ll need to manually do it. Incredible this was overlooked considering the high price. However, the silicone handle that’s attached to the lid is heavy enough to hold it back, out of your face when drinking. My nephew has one and he loves it and takes it to school everyday. Pods can be bought cheaper from the actual AirUp website! I find the 600 ml size on this ‘mini sipper’ to be adequate in terms of water intake and surprisingly heavy enough for me to carry, so I’m glad I didn’t go for the bigger size. If you screw it up tight it won’t leak and I found an excellent brush on here for cleaning which is made from flexible silicone and perfect for getting into tight spaces without scratching your bottle. They can be found under a search for ‘silicone bottle brushes’ and I recommend the long handled one for superior cleaning with hygienic and flexible bristles. This is an expensive water bottle but it’s robust and well made and the scents are authentic tasting. When not in use, the lid needs to be pressed down until you hear and feel it click shut, otherwise again, it could leak. *Important Update* I must mention I sometimes suffer with Colitis and if you have any gut problem at all, those air bubbles you’re swallowing are gonna build up and cause a nasty flare up. That’s what happened to me sadly and it’s a real downside. I’m left feeling quite disappointed. Definitely important to bear in mind when deciding if it’s right for you or a loved one. I had a renewed interest in drinking more water, thanks to the unique flavouring and bright bottle but am now afraid to use it due to the painful trapped wind it caused. So I’ve had to drop a star.

Tastes just like water no taste to the pods waste of money if you ask me.

Good bottle though pods aren’t cheap and they’ve stopped my favourite flavour iced coffee 😔 does make drinking plain water a much nicer experience.

Good bottle but leaks if not kept upright- brought this for a teenager for school and leaked everywhere

J'étais très sceptique, mais honnêtement c'est un bon produit. La gourde est de bonne qualité, et les parfums se sentent vraiment. Mon fils boit davantage d'eau, sans l'inconvénient des sirops sucrés. Je recommande !

Grande Arnaque! C’est très cher et le goût est à peine perceptible. Ne faites pas la même erreur que moi en le commandant.
