The thread inserts are too small to use in a crank

What type of crank? I am trying not to say, buy the right thread then.

Does the kit come with a case and the tools

The ad shouldn't have put kit, as you only get the thread inserts in a bag! No case or tool. If you have some steel rod, bend a 90° angle on one end & you put a slice in the other end with a hacksaw or fine cutting disc, if you have an angle grinder & you could make a tool! Thats what I did!

I bought these thread insets because my pedal got loose. The inserts are too small put in my pedal and my pedal is too big for the inserts. Does anybody know which size should I buy for a normal crank or pedal.
