Riedel O Wine Tumbler Viognier/Chardonnay, Set of 2

We bought these to replace similar glasses we had broken. As has been mentioned, it does appear the thickness of the glass (crystal) seems to be slightly thicker than those produced earlier by Riedel. No problem with us, as it certainly doesn't detract from the quality or appearance of the glass. The glasses are probably a bit more pricy than others, but are certainly worth the extra cost considering the quality and design. We use these glasses all the time.

I have chronically sore thumbs from arthritis, so gripping and dropping standard, stemmed wine glasses is a hazard. But I love wine tumblers--if they are equally attractive and easy to handle. Many are bulking and overly large to grip. But Riedel offers several models based on wine variety, and all feel and look classic. And I find they are sturdy enough to pop in the dishwasher.

I bought these to replace 2 of an old set that I had broken. I noticed that they are a fraction taller than the older Reidel chardonnay stemless crystal, but this is only noticeable if placed alongside. It would be undetectable otherwise. These are my go-to for everyday use and casual get togethers with friends. Great gift too!

These are beautiful glasses. Excellent quality and a nice price.I laughed when I saw Sturdiness as a feature. These glasses have solid bottoms but taper smoothly to a very fine gorgeous edge at the top. Don't drop them in the sink with the pots and pans. The packaging was scary, they move around in their box with only a thin piece of cardboard between. But Riedel must know how to pack, these two and the more recent order were all fine. But don't shake the box hard when it arrives.

The glasses are so beautifully thin; once you match the right wine glass for wine, anything else just doesn’t work.

These are sturdy and stable (we have cats) but not clunky. The rim is cut not rolled. This particular type is a bit on the small side but fits nicely into smaller hands and still holds a good slug of wine.

I like them… sturdier than they look. A little smaller than I expected but overall good glasses, as expected from Riedel.
