Simple solution that is compatible with the devices you need to connect. Simple and affordable - what not to like. Good product, well made, and functioning just as you need it! Simple solution to a problem of different formats. Certainly cheaper than buying the whole another cable.... Goos job, CERRXIAN!

I attempted to use a USB 3 camera with this adapter. The adapter did NOT work and the camera simply could not be found. After I rebooted, I could see the USB type C message for the port reporting a current overload. I cannot say if these adapters would work with any LOWER power devices. Fortunately, going back to the USB type C port that I thought was blown I am still able to use it! Even though there was a major warning about the current over draw condition. I have not yet tried this on any other USB 2 device so I can comment further on that.

Tried to use these for taking a 3.1 cable down to a 3.O standard B connector for a conferencing cam. It locked the camera up every time requiring a reboot. When using a similar product from another manufacturer the cable and camera worked fine.

They work great for my needs I wanted a longer cable for some external hard drives and these helped as I already had plenty of 10foot USB C cables. just plugged them in and ran the cable and they work. I can guarantee you get top speeds or anything but they are fast enough to watch movies off the hard drives with no issues and transfers seem to work just as fast as before. So these are a major win and might order a few more and move my externals further away from my setup so i dont hear them as much or just to have if the cable on one goes bad.

Be sure you get the right type converter for your need. I missed that these were USB 3.0 version even though it says clearly in the listing that they are not the 2.0 style. I had to find a different printer to see how they worked. Worked just fine and printed the job nicely. Handy little converter to make use of regular USB C cables.

USB connectors. These are the adapters you need to make the connection... Well-made and solid connection. Does the job for me! Recommend

This didn't work for any of my music equipment but it came in clutch for my printer, now I can just re-use my USB-C cables without having those thick printer cables unitasking and taking up space.
