This is a FANTASTIC duvet cover set!
I was a little worried about ordering this duvet set after reading some of the lower rated reviews, but I am so glad I ordered it anyway!! The buttons didnโt fall off when I washed it, like many reviews stated. There was a lone button in the washer, but I realized it was a spare button that I mustโve missed after taking the tags off. I will say that some of the buttons look like I probably need to reinforce them at some point, but so far so good. Despite what some reviews stated, this set is not scratchy at all. That said, if you are used to a sateen finish, it is rougher than that, but not scratchy. I loooove the way it feels. It seems that some thought this was a comforter, complaining about how thin it was. This is a duvet cover meant to have a duvet tied inside of it. That said, it is pretty heavy for a duvet cover and would be a great summer weight for those that sleep hot or those in southern climates without a duvet inside. The fabric is thick and luxurious. It feels very expensive and is extremely comfy! Itโs very cozy. None of the ties inside fell off when washed or when I tied in the duvet. There are 8 ties on the inside of this cover for securing your duvet. There is a tie in each corner and a tie in the middle of each side. This is perfect for securing the duvet to keep it from sliding around if you sleep wild. I absolutely love the button details on this set. It gives the set an elevated and polished appearance. I did choose to put the button closure of the duvet cover at the bottom of the bed because I wasnโt sure that Iโd want buttons on my face, but I do love the review pics with the buttons at the top. I may give it a try. The fabric is not extremely wrinkly, but does have that slightly crinkly look of linen that I love and is very inviting to me. If you want a super smooth ironed look, this is probably not the cover for you. It isnโt like 100% linen that gets and holds wrinkles though. I love that the shams have the button closure as well to hold the pillows and keep them from sliding out. This duvet cover has also helped to keep me comfortable throughout the night. I have not woken up sweaty a single morning. I also have not had to do the throwing the covers off and on or throwing a leg out thing and I have a down duvet in it and live in the south. I may have to take the duvet out when we get further into the summer. My husband is always hot and used to rarely sleep with covers, but even he loves this duvet cover and has been sleeping with in on throughout the night. If you are looking at trying natural fiber bedding to help with sleep quality, this is the one you want!! -Julie

Better than luxury brand
I bought a 100% linen duvet cover in May and spent $310 on it. It was super scratchy when I first purchased but softened after multiple washes. The mother of pearl buttons were beautiful. The color was stunning. Less than 6 months later, some of the mother of pearl buttons have broken off. Itโs thinned significantly and because it only had 4 ties, it was always a mess keeping the actual duvet anchored in and straight. Enter this duvet cover - now, I just got this today so Iโm only giving my initial thoughts but Iโm very impressed. It washed and dried well. The forest green is stunning. It feels exactly like 100% linen thatโs already been washed a few times. It has 8 ties which immediately esthetically makes a huge difference. It doesnโt look like a sad, empty flour sack. It looks full, specifically along the edges. I cannot emphasize enough how helpful it is to have 8 ties instead of 4. And at a quarter of the cost of the โhigh endโ duvet cover I bought, this feels like such a steal! Iโm so happy I found this! Iโll update my review in a couple months to reflect how well itโs holding up but Iโd say itโs absolutely worth every penny. Highly recommend. Update 12/18/24 - Love it still! Fits great and looks great. Buttons are intact, color hasnโt faded. Hasnโt shrunk despite washing and drying it on hot occasionally (I sweat a lot at night so I like to make sure my bedding is clean clean, ya know). Iโm much happier with this duvet than the previous one. Iโd recommend this to my friends, itโs that good.

Soft, quality construction, beautiful color
On the upside, it was a decent price and the stitching and construction is a five star. It even has eight ties which is more than the 6 pottery barn duvets have. The extra ties in the middle of the sides made it easy to put on down insert. Also, the fabric is extremely soft and I love the color. I bought it to use in my camper and it works great for that. The buttons really make it look high end. It will requires some touch up ironing around the button enclosures. The fabric is thinner than I expected but overall a great buy. I bought it for my camper and would buy it again. It is a good buy in my opinion.

Love it
I love this duvet cover. It washes well and has that soft linen feel. I have pets and so I wash it often. It has interior ties to keep the comforter in place. It's light weight so it doesn't give you a too heavy feeling. The buttons are fine. I would have preferred something less visible but the quality is good. The buttons aren't flimsy. I am pleased with my purchase.

Amazing quality !
Somehow got this for $22.99 on September. Went back to buy a different color and itโs $114(!) guess I got a great deal but really sad itโs so expensive now! Thoughts a kin Amazon was taking me to the wrong page bc their microfiber duvet covers are around that price range but no. Mine has the buttons and is linens I am obsessed with this coverโฆ Itโs perfect and linen and so pretty.

Fantastic feel and look
This duvet cover is amazing! I've washed it twice and it has truly gotten softer with every wash. It is so cozy on colder nights but it seems to breathe very well on the hotter ones. Being a linen/cotton blend, it's soft enough that it never feels too rough on my skin. It also drapes very nicely on my bed. I was worried about my duvet poking out of the buttoning edge but the overlap of fabric on that side solves that. I purchased the burnt orange color and I would say it is mostly true to color to the picture, just a bit deeper of a reddish-orange. It definitely responds well to warm lighting and in the evening it looks a lovely dark rusty color. Would definitely recommend for someone who wants something that'll hold up without breaking the bank on 100% linen!

Okay for the price but you should spring for a better quality IMHO
Big fan of the Bedsure line of bamboo sheets; good quality, great price point, etc. But even with their sheets, I have caveats -- e.g. not entirely certain they are 100% bamboo, feel more like poly, break down relatively quickly after a few washings even if you follow the instructions. That said, I ordered a set of their sheets in pink recently and when I did, I decided to pick up a down comforter and a linen cotton blend duvet cover (what this review is about.) The quality is...fine. It's clearly a linen blend, which I knew going into it, and I'm okay with that because 100% linen can be really scratchy if it's not quality or stone washed. And a blend obviously keeps the price low. However, and it's a BIG however, the set I ordered seems to have a VERY pungent alcohol-stench that is not dissipating even after two rounds of washing. In fact, it seems to be getting worse with each wash and dry. When the bag was first opened, I didn't smell this odor; there was a slight chemical smell, as there was with the sheets, but I'm used to that with new linens and always wash them before putting on my bed for the first time. But when I washed the cover and shams, the alcohol smell was blinding when I pulled them out of the machine. It was so strong, I thought something had leaked or gotten into the load from somewhere else. But the other towels and shirts smelled fine. It was just the duvet cover. I've just now taken it out from its second wash/dry run and the smell is still there. Also already lost a button. I normally don't even call out reviews like this but in this case, I wanted to put it out there to see if others have experienced this issue. I'm off to spend more $$$ on a better quality less stanky cover, I guess.

Great quality.
The fabric is soft and comfortable to sleep under. The colour is as shown.

Color is not as shown
The color is more of a wheat (yellow) color than a linen beige as shown in the picture. Material is nice and I like the button detail. It doesn't wrinkle as much as I thought it would which is nice.

Perhaps value for money ....
.... but I did not particularly like the fabric. It is thin (although the 100% linen is thin too) but it does have the variation typical of linen fabric. I purchased the product only because the one I really wanted appeared to be out of stock (but it was only a problem with the website) so I am returning this set unused. Cannot judge the quality, but I did not like the fabric that much.

Colour is not accurate but quality is fine
Significantly lighter in colour than what the photo shows. It's like a medium gray. Decent quality though, quite heavy.
