Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides Powder, Vanilla, 10.6oz

I have been taking this product for 3 months. I put it in my morning coffee. I started to see the result of it recently. First my skin condition got greatly improved. My skin got so soft and has glow now. I believe this provided anti-aging effect. Secondly, my hair is really long and colored. It used to get tangled at the end. I noticed that my hair doesn't tangled as much. I didn't expect this much improvement. It's a plus! The taste has coconut flavor with a little bit vanila scent. If you don't mind cocnut and nutty flavor, you will like it. Don't expect this is like vanila creamer. And then you will be disappointed. Coconut taste is stronger than vanila. I love this creamer over all. I ordered the second one. Hope it helps :)

I loved drinking the vanilla flavored one. It was a must with my coffee. I just received one because I ran out and immediately noticed the change in the flavor. Another change was it not having a scoop anymore. I didn't mind it no longer having a scoop since I still had the one from my previous purchase but I can see how inconvenient that could be to someone that is used to having the little scoop to suddenly not finding one inside and worse if they don't have a 1/4 measuring cup at home for whatever reason. For me, the downfall was now it has MALTODEXTRIN which is bad for you and also noticing the big change in how it tastes. Before it was so good and now it tastes so sweet and it even has more of a coconut taste than before. It always had a coconut flavor but very very mild and was balanced beautifully with the vanilla and not sweet at all. Now, it tastes sweet and more coconut. It is that much sweeter... almost like if they had added stevia. So disappointed and with that new ingredient maltodextrin and taste I am not interested in repurchasing.

I will admit that this does not pair well with all drinks. However, once you find the drinks it complements then it is delicious! It is slightly sweet, slightly coconutty, and slightly rich/creamy as it should be. I find that it is excellent paired with matcha, chai, and Clevr Blends drinks. This is also a great alternative creamer for coffee for those who have food sensitives/restrictions. Some users have mentioned issues with clumping/not stirring well. I have not had this issue, but I have an effective method of blending. I dump the collagen in hot water, let it sit for at least 30 seconds, then use one of those milk frothers to mix the rest. Then I add whatever drink/powder/coffee/milk and am left with no clumps! The milk frother is maybe $9 here on Amazon, so if you do not have one, it is worth purchasing and makes all the difference. I really like the benefits of collagen BUT the whole thought of it really kind of grossed me out. This powder has a bit of an after taste in my opinion but it’s nothing terrible, I think mixing a little regular coffee creamer in the same flavor as the powder into your coffee helps mask the taste a little bit. As far as “blending power” I personally find it a bit difficult to dissolve into coffee with just a spoon. I bought a cheap frother/blender thing here on Amazon and it works perfect to blend this powder. I will admit it is pricey BUT I looked into taking collagen supplements and discovered I’d have to take like 6 big supplements to get the same amount of collagen as 2 scoops of this so I’ll stick to the powder for now!

There are two aspects of this product to review: flavor/use and how it works according to the claims. The first aspect to review is how this product tastes and what it's like to use. Due to the cost & calories of this product, I am only using one scoop in my coffee, not two as recommended. With that amount, honestly, I can barely taste that it's there - it tastes like I'm drinking almost-black coffee with very little cream or vanilla flavor of note. With the calories added by using this, I don't want to add more half-and-half to get my desired level of creaminess, because I thought the point was to be adding this product instead, not in addition to, what I already was using. Additionally, as others have mentioned, it is clumpy, even when I use a little whisk to try to blend it in. The latter is difficult to review after only using this creamer for a month. I don't notice anything different with my skin or nails, which are the outer health benefits that could be noticeable. The inner benefits of collagen, such as heart health & bone density, are not something I can easily gauge either. The benefit I am watching closely is my knees, which tend to ache on days when I work out, so I'm taking this mostly to see if it will help with that. Sadly, I have not noticed a difference yet (I have still had the aching.) I am going to keep trying this every other day or so, to stretch it out because of the cost, and also to enjoy creamier coffee on the other days. This will also give the product a chance to have a cumulative effect over time, and I'll see if results found. If I do see a noticeable difference in my knees, I will come back to edit this review by the end of the year. If not, I will leave the review as is, and I will cancel my subscribe & save order.

I’ve been using this product for a few years, my doctor recommended it to me. I like the taste. I discovered that if I add a small ( 1-2 TB) amount of hot coffee to the powder, and stir it up well, the powder dissolves beautifully, then I add the rest of the coffee. The newly designed container is awesome! It is environmentally friendly and very easy to open. Kudos to the company for doing this!

well I got this because I wanted to put my collagen--that has to be dissolved in hot liquid--in my coffee. (My preferred brand says don't mix with dairy.) And J Anniston sponsored it, so it must be high quality... No bueno! First, they call for a huge serving size (4 Tbsp. or 1/4 c.) compared to my usual 1 Tbsp. daily. Then it's horribly sweet. Next it's not CREAMY at all! "Creamer" is a bizarre misnomer. I found myself adding a packet of non-dairy creamer, just to give it substance. I'll choke it down just because of the expense, but won't reorder.

This is my favorite creamer and it's collogen too! It's delicious in flavor, perfectly balanced between coconut and vanilla. It does dissolve extremely easy with no strong or off after taste. This is low in calories for me, but that does depend on your own calorie intake. It's perfectly sealed, where you can smell the freshness once opened. I do wish I got more creamer in the container size, two scoops are recommended per serving (10mg), but more collogen can fit in the container. That is my only negative.

El producto llegó a tiempo pero el envase estaba inflado, al destaparlo todo parecía bien pero lo probé y el sabor es verdaderamente malo, probé hacer una segunda y el problema si es el producto, el sabor es muy malo

Pensé que era colageno, el sabor es malo sabe a coco, no ha vainilla. Lo tomo solo porque lo compré, no volvería a comprarlo
