Good size, roomy but not huge. The high sides keep litter contained and the entry is low enough to be easy and comfortable for my cat. He's medium sized (10-12 lbs) and had plenty of room to turn around and do his thing.

I have a senior cat who requires a high-sided litter box given her urine spray pattern. She recently suffered a permanent injury causing her mobility issues so she is no longer able to get into her old box, which has led to soiling problems I found this box as a replacement high-sided box with a smaller lower opening that she could step through. The box sides do angle outward so the inside dimensions at the lower portion are more like 15.5" x 18.5" but she is a medium sized cat and still has plenty of room to move about. The box has smooth rounded corners and easily releases the clumping litter used. Could you find something at a lower price? Maybe, but this box is working for her.

For basic cat litter service, this is a good starter box. Has a couple of problems for some applications, though: -- Tall Cats, those high-peeing who refuse to squat, will pee right over the side with ease. -- Plastic isn't really thick, so feels like it doesn't bode for a particularly long life... Even though it was listed as "box with high sides", I underestimated the urinary agility of a couple of our cats. Two of them are fine, but two others just back right up and shoot over the top of the sides, which is a cleanup problem... And as for value for the money... the plastic being a bit thin is not ideal. It shortens the effective life of the box, esp with having to move it around a lot and have the scoop scraping into the edges... this box probably won't last a good year! Size-wise... it's a pretty good size... for KITTENS especially. Our two smaller cats find it perfectly comfortable and don't mind using it, and don't have a problem with wanting to shoot over the top... but as I said, bigger adult cats can get imaginative and energetic about their urinary agility, and can defy reasonability when a box like this just is not high enough. I do like the entrance side... it's high enough to deter flinging of litter around, yet low enough to let even the little guys comfortably into it Overall... about a 3.5, which rounds up to 4 stars!

Litter box was what I expected It was perfect size and we absolutely love it It's big enough for the cat and nothing gets on the floor cuz those sides are so tall.
