Good value for money - excellent & versatile little player
The quality of this unit is very good indeed. Having previously bought a similar HIDIZS player which malfunctioned within the first week because the buttons failed to work correctly, this one seems to be foolproof so far. Very simple to operate with one hand and solid feeling too (metal case - not plastic). The buttons on the unit seems to be very positive as opposed to the HIDIZS that I had before and I am sure that they will last a lot longer too. After a few weeks of regular usage, I have found no problems with it - connectivity is good via bluetooth and it will also play through my stereo system via the Aux input so that was a bonus I wasn't expecting. All the different resolutions of FLAC files (up to 24 Bit) that I have loaded on to it have played without problem. All in all, at this price, I would recommend this player without reservation. I am sure that there are plenty of more expensive players out there but I am sure that you would have to spend an awful lot more to get not very much more quality of sound.

Breath of Fresh Air.
The device looks and feels nice, and it's a perfect entry for Hi-res music. We all first began with MP3, Thinking! Wow this is good. Then we moved up a bit better to WMA and then WAV/FLAC [16bit CD quality]. It was all compressed music so what was going to be the next step....24bit/DSD/DSF/DFF...space travel..There are lots of legal pay websites out there where you can download your favourite albums in superior quality. Many albums I now look in a different way. THE DOORS 'Riders in the Storm' is almost breathtaking, can almost feel the rain sound falling on me!. MILES DAVIS - Kind of Blue, you would think the band were playing in the same room as me, so detailed. NICK DRAKE - Jaw dropping bass and acoustic guitar. If you love your albums as much as I do buy this entry level device..as soon as you hear it through your system, Wow!. YOUR HOOKED. Next to buy Hi-res Headphones!.

I love my Xduoo
I really like owning real/separate MP3 players rather than using a phone, and also own some high ohm studio headphones that are great but that most units struggle to drive well. The Xduoo is powerful enough to drive them, and the sound quality is fantastic! Lovely bit of kit.

There's better for the same or less money
Needed a player just for travel cheap and cheerful, would have usually gone for a low end Fiio but thought I'd try xduoo for a change. Player is ok i guess nice and compact but plastic back that doesn't fit flush and the sound quality for me was a big no, tried it with a selection of iems but just didn't sound right, I've heard better at half the price, my advice is look elsewhere even the cheap Fiio player at £50 is superior in every way.

Excellent for the $
I started a collection of lossless players in 2016 and I ended it many months ago with the purchase of the Shanling M5s, which I am really impressed with (I love Shanling's players). I purchased this Xduoo X3II because I was attracted to its techy looks and so I reviewed its attributes to my requirements since Bluetooth entered into the spectrum a year ago with my purchase of the Shanling M1. I have since purchased many different Bluetooth capable players and learned all I will ever need to know about the topic. It isn't abundantly clear to consumers if this player is aptX capable. It is! It has the same designation (Hi-Quality) in the Bluetooth menu as the Shanling M1.I did not spend a lot of time with the X3II. I charged it, familiarized myself with the operating system, loaded a 256gb card with 10,000+ FLAC files, adjusted all of the controls and Bluetoothed it to many of my systems. The X3II sounds good. It sounds far better than the Fiio M6, my worst sounding player and probably as good as many of my players, if I kept fine-tuning the equalizer and I firmly believe the AK DACs need to burn in. There was no burn-in time here. My Shanling M1 needed many months of continuous playing until it sounded like anything and I swear its sound is still improving.I put this player in my collection inventory along with untold many other makes and models. I switch some players out. I am constantly alternating one system between a Pioneer XDP 100R and an OPUS #3. It's like buying a new player without buying one. I have, constantly streaming right now into various high-powered systems two (2) Shanling M0s, a Shanling M1, a Shanling M5s and two (2) HiBy R3 players. I use them all daily. It's my hobby.I purchased this X3II player because it caught my eye. I like the way it looks, very much. It has to do with the materials and the placement of the buttons, even the buttons on the side. It's relatively inexpensive or I would not spend any more money on another player. This one just fit my addiction to these fascinating players. There is no case to be found, but if I can't get Shenzhen Audio to sell me one on Amazon, I'll likely purchase one from Penon Audio and drive my bank crazy. I placed a screen cover on the back and anchored it with 4 of the rubber feet the X3II comes with.I did one comparison. If I am going to use this player, it would have been where I am Bluetooth streaming my Shanling M1 to a pair of Avantree headphones. Honestly, the M1 sounds far superior, but as I said, it didn't used to. It needed to break in. The M1 matured like wine. I never noticed so much improvement in a hi-fi component for which I have no other reason to attribute the sound improvement to other than constantly playing the M1 for about six months.II found the operating system to be perfectly fine. It's a pretty good operating system. The only thing it won't do is get you to a designated track because there is no touch screen and you will have to make folders to speed things up. The screen is pretty good. Album art shows, and it is in color. The X3II is larger than I expected. It feels good in the hand.At its price point, this is a very fine, well rounded, very well built, easy to operate good to great sounding player. The Xduoo 3II is a bargain.

Ottima costruzione, sound e batteria
