This is a very good and comfortable vest. I don't feel the weighted initially but after wearing it after hour or two, I definitely feel the spare 6.8kg. I bought 10% of my body weighted, I am 169cm tall, 68kg. I mainly wear it for my daily walks. Please be reminded to follow correct movement when wearing at home and sitting on the sofa or bending over. You may hurt yourself if you don't follow the correct ways to stand up. Overally, great apart from having dilemma about washing it. You will get sweaty after 30-40 minutes during rigorous walk.

Bought this after watching a YouTube video of a mature active woman reporting on how her walks greatly improved once she started using a rucking vest. Never heard of this, so I searched for it and got the exact one she (not a paid spokesperson) used and recommended. I noticed from the first few steps on my usual walk that I could feel my glutes and hamstrings hollering "hellooo" even on flat ground. On the hilly parts, wow! Totally loved how my body felt with the extra 10 lbs and the awareness of posture and keeping core/abs held strong and steady. I read some reviews of users wearing this while doing chores, so I tried that and when on my walking pad. It's even helped my bicycling feel less taxing, like I grew a bit stronger with better endurance. It definitely brings personal movement to another level! It also has a mesh storage area between the shoulder blades if you need it. The elasticized armband pouch is handy, has a larger zippered section for your cellphone and a small zippered pocket in the front with enough space for a key, cough drops, cash, etc. Secures with Velcro to hold on place. I love this vest!

I had been thinking about buying a weighted vest for a long time, considering the variety of styles available, I had no idea which to get. Then a friend of mine leant me his. That gave me information about what a weighted vest was about. A great help. His was like a jacket and straps fitted through D rings on the side, and I could add or take off weights. Doing the straps up was not easy, and once the thing was on it felt restrictive on the chest. Wearing it for a while my shoulders began to feel the pressure, which surprised me because I thought my legs would play up first. It also gave me an idea of what weight I would need. Far less than I thought. So I chose this one. A fixed weight, straps that do up at the front, and a vest type. If I ever need it to be heavier, I’ll buy the next size up. My intention is to only use it around the house. I may gravitate to doing short walks, but I won’t be running with it.

Really like the feel of this best. Not too tight or too loose. The weight feels more distributed over the body. Doesn’t make you feel hot.
