Don't break the case until reading this
After reading the one star review about breaking the case to get it open, I just said ef-it and used brute force to pull the black lock up and pry the tab open. I don't have the end caps problem others reported. Other than the 15 minutes of frustration try to not break the case open, this is a good little set.
