ZAVOOS 48 Slot Miniature Carrying Case with 2 Shock-Absorbing Foam Layers

Works very well with Legos mini figures.

Good sized case for wargame infantry or D&D characters.

The case itself is well made, sturdy, with latches that seem like they should hold up for awhile. The "vent" is a funny addition... it seals airtight with a fine threaded metal screw and rubber gasket.... but the case itself is just a plastic clamshell and is not airtight. There's a depression for a sealing gasket around the lip, but it's not included. The interior foam is super cheap and scratchy with tiny cutouts. I'm not sure what the dimensions were designed around, but if your mini has any kind of pointy bits, it's going to be a tight wedge. I bought this because another reviewer said it worked for Battletech, but I really don't think it does. See pic. The smallest mechs wedge tightly with pressure on their bendy bits, and everything else is oversized and will require cutting. I'll keep the case, but I think I'm going to have to find replacement foam, which makes this item less of a deal.

As title. 28mm and a lot of GW models will be a bit large for this, however, as will some of the bigger heavy battlemechs (put them in sideways, they'll fit better) and assault battlemechs. It's otherwise pretty solid, and there is more than enough margin between each cutout to squish a slightly bigger figurine in.
