The threads are M10, but the eye is only 8 mm
I got the ANPTGHT M10 x 30mm shoulder Eye Bolts (4pcs) to use on my utility trailer. The bolts are 35 mm in total height with 20 mm of threads. The actual eye is only 8 mm in diameter. These bolts are slightly magnetic, which means this is either not true or 304 stainless steel or in the process to cut the threads, they became slightly magnetic. You can see from the photos that these Will be the right size for use with rope up to 5/16 inch diameter or shackles or even bungee cords. But the eye is not big enough for a typical hook on the end of a ratchet strap. I got these to use specifically with rope on a trailer to secure dirt bikes and these have been perfect for my needs. They’ve been outside for about a month now and they don’t show any signs of rust or other corrosion. At the time of this review, the bolts are ~$6 for the four of them which is about the same price you would pay for stainless steel bolts in any retail hardware store.
