80GB MP3 Player with Bluetooth and WiFi, Oilsky 4.0" IPS Touch Screen Audible M303 Pro Black-7

I've been wanting a Kindle for a while, but I opted for this mini tablet because of how easy it is to carry around with me. I was sceptical at first, though. Pros: The ability to put it in my pocket or purse easily was a big factor for me. I can read on this so much faster than I can on my iPad or phone. I haven't tested the audiobook feature yet, but I'm personally not a fan of them. The price of this was in my budget for what I needed. I like the feature where if you aren't using it for a certain amount of time, it'll automatically turn off. I'm not sure how I turned that on, but I'm sure you could look it up on YouTube. Cons: The only con I really have to say about this device is how fast the battery dies for me. Maybe it's because I use it a lot and read for so long on it, but I also keep the battery saver on, and it doesn't seem to help much.

I purchased this Oilsky M303 Pro MP3 player for my disabled wife, (living in a nursing home) who has limited physical ability. I set up the player with playlists, connected a USB-C cable and adapter. I then created a very detailed document to explain to the staff how to direct the music player to play music that my wife wanted to listen to. Essentially, the player is playing nonstop as long as AC power is not removed. Set up was reasonably easy, however, adding songs to playlists was a bit problematic, but easily rectified. The players earphone jack was connected through a cable to the aux input of a table radio. So, if the radio is turned off, no sound is heard, as the MP3 player remains in the play mode. Approximately two months later the display of the MP3 player went dark. This was not a screen timeout, but rather the screen would not turn back on. I tried a bunch of troubleshooting steps; I tried another USB-C cable, another power adapter, and still no display. I located the reset button and trying to reset the device failed. After contacting Amazon about this issue, Amazon supplied me a link to the website of the manufacturer of this device, and suggested I reach out to them and explain the issue I was having. A couple of days after this, playing with the device, I discovered that if you hold certain buttons in the depressed condition, a boot menu comes up. There were five options, and I tried them all, and still received a dark screen. I informed the manufacturer of this issue, and they replied with a reset document which basically was the same thing that I did, which didn’t work. They sent another email to me, suggesting that I connect the device to Windows PC and upgrade the firmware to the device. I replied, I don’t own a Windows PC. I had originally asked the manufacturer for warranty replacement, and they sent me down a rabbit hole, only to discover that their device is defective. IMHO THEY FAILED AT CUSTOMER SERVICE. It was a great device until it wasn’t. If you plan on using a device long-term, as I did, I would highly recommend not purchasing this product. I cannot say enough good things about Amazon customer support! When this problem started to manifest itself into an issue with the manufacturer, Amazon stepped in and refunded the device price plus an inconvenience fee to me. UPDATE: In as much as the first player failed, I apprehensively ordered a second replacement unit, thinking that perhaps that was a one off. Well, that is not the case! Upon powering up the unit, the unit decided it didn’t like my SD card, the same SD card used on the other player, and confirmed to still contain valid media, and wanted to reformat it. I rechecked the card on another system, and I could no longer read the data. I reformatted the SD card in the player, moved the SD card to a Mac, and the Mac could not detect the card! I decided to connect the MP3 player directly to my Mac, and the Mac only saw the internal 16 gig card and didn’t see the external 64 gig card. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! I will be returning this player and picking something else, as this MP3 player and it’s manufacturing support team have failed me, and perhaps others who decide to purchase this product. DO NOT BUY !!!

I received this late last night Today, I spent a bit of time trying to figure it out. I am older and its been a while since I had to fiddle with this kind of thing. It is much more than just an MP3 that I had years ago. However, I did finally get into Audible and am now listening to my audio books. Blue tooth works well. The sound is very good. Both on the unit speaker and blue tooth. It is, of course, smarter than me. I am curious what will happen to my place in the book when I have to set it aside. I like the clear case it came with and the screen saver sheet. I am wondering about a clip attachment or band for taking it when I don't have a pocket. So far, I am just loving this! It will save the battery on my phone for more important reasons. I have no idea yet of the battery life.

I really like this for listening to my audiobooks, music, and podcasts!! I even downloaded PBS Kids Go for my daughter, just in case. I also have YouTube, but the picture quality isn't great. I only got this device for listening, mainly, so I wasn't upset about that. If you like audiobooks like me and don’t want to be distracted by phone notifications, this is great! It connects to Bluetooth easily. I love that it comes with a case, and I love that it's small. For me, it's a good price and perfect for what I need!

Excellent, easy to use MP3 player. I like the WiFi and Bluetooth capability. I use it to play music from my Spotify, YouTube and YouTube Music accounts. The Bluetooth let's me listen to music with headphones or Bluetooth speakers while I move around in my woodworking shop. The battery life is outstanding.
