There isn’t anything “Spectacular” about this pedalboard and nothing wrong with with it either - which is All Good! The square tubular frame is Solid. The frame is just the right weight. It is heavy enough to be sturdy, not fall apart if you’re gonna travel with it - but light enough to be a comfortable carry. I like the open design. There lowest bar is 1” - I put my Horizontal Multi-Effect pedals of that rung.I use the two rungs above that more conventionally for a row of traditional vertical stomp boxes. This still leaves a third row for another set of pedals, if/when I need. The Power Supply Tray- is just the natural space made by the larger end of an incline. But their suggested usage is good and helpful. The Rear Top or Bottom Bar is a great place to attach your Power Supply (Not Included). The open design and well-thought-out cut-out holes on the sides of the board are very helpful in cable routing. The design gives you the option to route through the inside, under the bars, or through the holes and along the sides. Aiding in all this are the “extra” - The Pedalboard ships with rolls of Velcro / Hook & Loop Tape, ¼” instrument Patch Cables, and Zip Ties. All Very Helpful in getting Set Up and Running. Since there is no need for assembly, once you have your power supply - Set up goes very quickly, once you decide what configuration works best for you. And because it’s not one of those more “Fancy” Boards - with Boots, Anchors, Screws, L Wrenches…etc… if you don’t like how you set stuff up - or the order, placement of a pedal - you just unplug ….pull it up, relocate, reconnect and Go! I LOVED the simplicity of this Pedalboard. I used a Joyo rechargeable power supply - and with my two horizontal multis up front, the board was fully portable. Because it’s such a solid build and good gripping Feet/Base- i felt comfortable pulling this pedalboard out of its carry bag, flicking the On Switch- and playing without fear, anywhere. My ONLY concern is actually the carry bag - it’s on the thin side, and the zipper is smaller and more fragile than you would expect a hunk of metal to be incased in. Feels like the carry bag will be a casualty Way before Any other part of this package. But for the price - it’s still a bargain - So, i don’t think it deserves to lose a star. With the value of the package as a whole, it makes sense that something maybe a little “cheaper” - the fact that the pedalboard and accessories were the quality focus, and not the bag it comes in, is a thumbs up in my book.
