Queen II[Collector's Edition] [5 CD/180g 2 LP Box Set]

I love this boxset! As a young Queen fan, I love hearing their classic early 70s music. The book is amazing and has many great pictures of them. Everything is very sturdy and well made. I am impressed. I do wish that a poster would have been added. But another than that, I am very happy with it. The audio sounds amazing.

Wow, really a great SDE presentation of Queen II my favorite and probably the best of their albums. The only complaint is it does not contain a blu-ray with the high res and surround audio. The album is split in two LPs, with the "white" and "black" sides in one vinyl each of the corresponding color with its own cover and etched B side that look pretty cool. Some may argue this by itself is worth the price. The box also has five cds with the new mix and plenty of extras including session versions, backing tracks and live material. The 2026 mix indeed improves on the 2011 remaster, it sounds clearer, with Taylor's drums given a bump. This may be the best Queen II has ever sounded. In this regard I would wait to hear the high res and surround mixes that hopefully will be released soon, as they did with Queen I. There a is nice book with plenty of pictures including some with hand written lyrics and the band live, in the studio, and the band remembrances from recording the album. A big plus are the four 12"x12" high quality prints of individual band member's picture extracted from the album cover. BTW, the cover picture looks better and of higher quality from previous vinyl reissues I have seen. So if you get this SDE box you won't regret it, especially if you are a fan of the album.

Sounds amazing, much better than the Queen 1 remix. The bonus content is as usual per Queen in the sense that there is content that has already been released multiple times. The boxset itself and the prints are where this set shines.

Queen II is my dream album. I've been listening to it for the past 40 years since my high school. This box set has it all. I especially love the pics of their hand-written lyrics and studio sessions. How exciting it is for them to use a studio full time for the first time! I love all the songs and in particular, I feel like I'm becoming part of a grandiose, mysterious mythical world when I listen to side B that starts with Ogre Battle. Love you Queen and Love you Freddie Mercury FOEREVER.

Queen II has always been my favorite Queen album, so I was going to buy this Collector's Edition regardless. After spending time with it, I can honestly say I'm glad I did. The wealth of extras makes this a fantastic package. The additional material provides a deeper look into the album and its creation, and it's clear that a lot of care went into putting this set together. While I do think the price is higher than it probably should be, I don't regret the purchase for a second. For anyone who considers Queen II one of the band's masterpieces, it's worth owning. One thing I should mention is that I'm generally not a fan of digital remastering. I grew up loving the warmth and character of analog recordings, and I actually appreciate the little imperfections that come with them. Tape hiss, minor flaws, and all—the music feels more alive to me that way. While I still prefer the original analog presentation, I think this release does a respectable job of honoring the spirit of the album while bringing together an outstanding collection of bonus content.

This album is my favorite one by Queen. It showed a little of their more future pop sound, but is steeped in their progrock beginnings. Side two is my favorite side of the recording. Overall, the package is well constructed. The additional 4 CDs are not "throw away" items. The clarity of the sound is fantastic. I have not played the record(s) yet. But I'm sure the same attention to detail has been given to the LPs as the rest of the package.

It is outstanding. The sound is fabulous, and the book has many beautiful photos, includes pictures of hand written music and lyrics. A must have for fans and collectors!!! Love it!!

It a very nicely done collection and worth the price foe any Queen collector

The Queen set was absolutly perfect.like the first one.got it at a fantastic price. Being a lover of queen from age 13 to 65. I think i deserve this. As its always been my fav album. Thanks BRIAN MAY and everyone else who helped make this precious gift. I love it.
