Oddly enough, I didnt get these to hold a number plate in place. I got them to hold my ever falling security light in place. This light weighs nothing at all but no amount of sticky things have worked so far. I figured that if these hold number plates on in all weathers and bumps etc, they may work for me. So far so good. They are a reasonable size in thickness and have a sponge feel to them so when applied they will leave a small space behind them but nothing that is concerning. 48 strips give me a few spare to redo if this idea is unsuccessful. They are larger versions of the sticky pads that come with many adhesive hooks etc. that adhere to walls or other surfaces alike. £4.89 for these is brilliant value. Even for number plates you will have a surplus that will last you for a while.

Perfect. Where Nano tape failed, even gorilla extra strong mounting tape failed, these actually worked. If that's not an indictment I don;'t know what is. For my use I just wanted our number plate to be a little but more secure so that wasn't as heavy duty of an application but it definitely worked very well for that. My more heavy experiment was using this to mount a heavy plug extension upside down under my table, I was generous with the use of the strips, covering all of it, all stuck on very well and were easy to pull off the film too, and this performed amazingly. After a minute of pushing up onto the desk just to be safe, I let go and these strips held up everything. Note that even the Gorilla strong mounting tape that's more expensive than this wasn't able to do this. So the adhesive is incredibly strong, and the foam is good too for absorption, and the pads are very easy to use. I've never heard of this company to be honest, but if I want to mount other heavy things I might just get these from now on. Also seems like great value under £5 which is cheaper than other strong competitors. Can definitely recommend.

I didn't actually order this to stick a number plate or any other similar use, in fact I got this pack for crafting. I am a paper-crafter and I often have a need for foam tape strips rather than the little foam squares, and this fits the brief exactly. So my review here is based on my experience using it in a crafting capacity, which obviously is not as heavy duty; however for my needs this is perfect! You get 48 strips in the pack and each one is 7.5cm x 2cm x 1mm, so it's not as thick as crafting foam but it can easily be doubled up if more height is needed. It can easily and cleanly be cut with scissors (I find that cutting it while still attached to the carrier paper is best) and it sticks instantly on contact with no wrinkles or puckers. This versatile foam tape is good value for money and is a must for your craft room and/or DIY tool bag.

I received this for free so I can give an impartial review under the Vine programme. Having just got a new rear numberplate for my car this was a perfect time to test these out! Previously I always used 3M sticky pads, which are expensive, and I find the plastic film really hard to remove from them. Not that that's critical, since you only do it once, but it's a factor. I'd never heard of this brand, but they seem to be established in the UK making this kind of product. And they work great. Loads in the pack - 6 sheets with 8 strips each. I used 8 for my standard size number plate so plenty to spare. Longevity is key and sadly I can't review that - I will try to update this if the number plate falls off in six months! But for now I'm very happy - these are great value and seem good quality.
