I know it was the cable because daisy chained my initial 2 cables worked. I needed a 3rd for my Silverstone SX1000R SFX-L Platinum because the power supply only came with one. Due to my small form case I basically had to rebuild half my computer to install this cable, needless to say im pissed. On top of that, two of the prongs, the plastic coating was never separated so I first split those in order to fit them on to begin with. I will never buy another Silverstone product again.

I bought 2 one was a returned one and one was a new one, and I think I know the reason why. Both of the cables I received were improperly put together and are entangled between the connectors and cannot be fixed unless the connectors are removed. I think also these should come with it's own cable clips after the previous problem has been fixed. I found the problem because I bought my own clips saw the problem, then tried to stupidly fix it till I realized the connectors needed to be taken off before being able to correctly line up the wires.
