I am super-happy with this light! It works well, it is well-constructed, it was easy to assemble. It is very bright and very easy to position. The cord is long enough to easily move around where I need to. The light units do generate some heat, but it's not nearly as much as compared to quartz-halogen work lights. The legs, when stretched out to their collective maximum radius, make the unit plenty stable. The extension tubes have stops, so one cannot inadvertently pull it apart while raising the height. It's not 100% completely perfect, as there was a small scratch in the yellow paint, and the foam around the handle has a small hole in it. But for the price, I couldn't be happier! If you are in need of a bright, portable, adjustable plug-in worklight, this is it!

This product was very easy to assemble and is a great work light for my studio! I was really happy with the quality and the ease of assembly. Each light has a switch on it so you can regulate the amount of light you need. Overall, I thought this was a very good value!

Not for small rooms. For, what? $40 you can unleash the power of the sun. Stand is cheap but not garbage. Can be mounted to walls.

I am a beginner diy-er trying to redo a ceiling in a den with low lighting.
