I got it for my dad and he is happy with it because this upgrade model is a lot easier to use for someone like my dad who has stroke and can’t move the hand and fingers much than older version.

You can't use without being plugged into outlet

I purchased this glove for my brother who had a severe stroke. The glove came as expected from the description. It fits his hand well and helps the hand to open. After the 20 min session, his hand lays flat on the table. We are hoping the stretching and stimulation will help him regain use of the hand. He cannot close his hand or use it on his own. We’ve only had it one week and we are going to wait and see what kind of results come over the next couple of months. I will edit and add to my review.

I have been using this rehab glove several times per week for almost 4 months. Because of the cost of the item, I wanted to be sure I gave the glove an extended test….and it exceeded my expectations. Let me start by saying I have not had a stroke but I had declining hand strength and several fingers struggling from “trigger finger”. Again, no stroke damage but my difficulties were impacting my right hand, its functioning and my day-to-day activities. I was past the point where squeezing a squishy ball was going to work. This glove has been a real help in arresting and even limiting that decline. I was already doing PT but this reinforced those efforts and encouraged me to do additional work to regain the hand strength. It “corrected” my movements to ensure that I was using the right form and keeping my entire hand engaged rather than cheating by using just a portion of the hand. Hope that makes sense. I used the sizing chart and found the suggested fit to be correct. Make sure you get the correct side, either left or right, as that matters. It fits a little tight but is still comfortable. The skelton-like unit kind of sits on your hand and then the air pressure helps move the fingers through the program. There is a little noise but nothing loud or irritating. The program I used runs about 17 mins from start to finish. My hands do not hurt during or after the program. The glove itself operated smoothly, does not heat up and works with your hands. Not sure I would call the machinations natural but it doesn’t overstretch your hands either. The unit is rechargeable using a 3’ electrical cord. The durability seems very good and I haven’t had even one time where the unit hesitated. While some may think twice considering it a bit pricey ($180in May 2026), I think it is a good value as it has helped restore mobility and strength to my right hand and costs less than one PT appt. I am still using the device for reinforcement even though I stopped going to PT. I wish I would have had this glove when helping my mother recover from a stroke. I think it would have made that much easier on her. Happy to recommend.
