This 1/2" braided wire loom is a high quality product with good thickness and functions very well. I like how firm it is, the weave is tight and the ends are cut clean and cauterized. I prefer this braided loom to the plastic split loom in just about every application for how versatile and protective it is. I didnt have any problems with feeding wire in - easy to use. I would definitely buy this brand again

It works well and keeps my cat from biting the wires in the garage. I have also used it to organize the television cords.

I selected this loom to bundle the cables from my printer cart to my equipment rack. I was able to fit a power cable, a USB cable, and two Cat 6 network cables in the sleeve and now have a single "umbilical" to mind instead of mess of cables whenever I have to move the cart. This loom is easy to use. Just split the loom with your fingers and insert the cables. The split design allows cables to break out in the middle. I found this useful for a neat and tidy appearance. The included zip ties make sure the bundle stays intact and cables won't slowly creep out. If you need to adjust the length, a good set of scissors/shears is all you need to trim to length. I can see numerous uses for this in other projects, especially automotive electrical systems and wire harness modifications. This a versatile, functional item. I just wish it came on a 50 foot roll so I could tidy more cables all over the house.

Great for cleaning up visual chord clutter!

Short version: More valuable than I expected. So, I didn't know how much I actually needed this until I dragged it out of the package and started running 2, 3, 4 cables through it and wrangling my solar control setup. I recently wired a small army of batteries together, got a hybrid inverter, and ran panels and the batteries to it. So far, so good. But to do this correctly, you need proper photovoltaic disconnects ("PV Disconnects") to tell solar panels to take a nap and quit flowing power to other gear. And you need a proper DC Disconnect from the batteries to a "Bus Bar" (the hub for receiving it all). And you should get a battery balancer if running multiple batteries together at all. So I suddenly have about an extra 40 ft of cable *distance* running through and around my workstation desk. And that distance needs multiple wires multiple times, so I have easily an extra 100ft of cable length spaghetti, at arm's reach. This helps solve for that. I was able to thread bunches of alike wiring (positive and negative and grounding sets, for example), through this mesh plastic wire loom. and it *instantly* gave less heebie jeebies, instantly felt much more manageable, instantly let me breathe a sight of relieve. Testing became more confident, before I have to wire everything external into proper conduit. I have another length of this I'll be cutting to fit, to secure interior wiring in production only. IT appears like a black colored mesh fabric that you can wrap around your wires, instead of having to pull the wires straight through. It's functional, but cutting it leaves fraying ends and they fuzz out fast as they try to unwind themselves. It still is permanent, but if you mess with it enough, for hours at a time, it's possible you could unwind it in exactly the fashion you couldn't with plastic tubing. This shoelaces with frayed eyelets. So don't do that. Otherwise, I can say 5/5 does what it says it will.

-Excellent cable sleeve that holds quite a few cables -The "curl" of it stays pretty tight and holds the shape very well -Braided material that feels strong and is flexible enough to work with and not get frustrated with it; has a thick feel yet still very easy to work with and get cables inside -Easy to get the wires installed inside it -Does a great job protecting the wires inside -Might help with pets that like to chew cables that are dangling as well -Really can help make an area look so much cleaner without a cluster of cables everywhere; Makes spaces look neat and tidy and clean -Easy to clean now instead of wiping off multiple cables just wipe off the cable protector itself; easy -Can get them in multiple colors which is a nice thing to help them blend in -This one was 10 feet and it could be cut to size if needed; can be a bit difficult to cut but that is a good thing and shows how durable they are and well made they are -If you do cut it ends could fray a bit from where it was cut; some heat should help with that -Excellent for any home office, basements where cables are run or any room with a lot of cables or you just want to try and deter pets even -Love that they included zip ties in the bag too; that was just a nice added touch and helps keep the cables together on the ends of the sleeve -Is an excellent value and highly recommended
