EZ Lube grease fitting covers will need replacement as they age and rot due to sun exposure.
An excellent trailer, purchased five years ago. With the right tools (plan ahead!) you can assemble this yourself with relative ease.It trails great, holds 2,000 lbs and just works right. I had a little difficulty with California licensing, but we worked it out. I don't remember the details. There was no warning that I recall about the rubber plugs for the grease fittings in the wheel hubs. Northstar will supply them for about $1.50 each. Get a handful and plan to keep ordering them. the trailer is worth it.I had to come up with my own lit license-plate frame scheme by adding four little LED lights and routing wiring to it. Unhappy with that. all-in-all, it's still a 4-star item, not 5-star, only for these two hidden costs.

Nice little trailer to have to haul bikes, an atv or general use.
You will spend a full day putting this together. I customized mine and put a plywood bottom and sides on for hauling an atv, dirt bike and to haul tree limbs on my farm. If you assemble by yourself be prepared to lip this over yourself. Not an easy task. It is easy to customize. Here is what I wanted to know before I purchased: the mesh is welded on the frame - no taking it off; everything is bolted together, if you install plywood you will need to get bolts from tractor supply - cheapest place for bolts, the top rail is one piece welded, make sure the shipper did not take apart your 3 packages or put it on its side - things may bend like mine. Be careful putting on the wheels because the bearings may pop out - no big deal. You will need a grease gun to load up the bearings and pick up a can of gloss spray paint for touch up. The trailer works great on the road - nice and light and tracks well. I also added a plate on the back to roll up my motorcycle on the back - the mesh will bend if you don't reinforce - your choice - it works either way. I also got this trailer because the ramp on the back is fully removable and you can simply put a pallet in the trailer from home depot no problem - this is an issue with welded on ramps. The ramp could be a bit longer, but this also keeps the weight low as well. Tires and wheels are heavy duty.
