This is a great product for cake decorating. They’re budget friendly and work just as they should. They’re so much easier than using rubber bands and allow me to set the piping bag down without it opening up. It’s also nice to have these on hand when my kids are decorating with me since they don’t have have the hand strength to keep the piping bags twisted closed.

I purchased these for my cookie icing bags. They are made with very sturdy material, they are stiff at first, after 2 uses they get easier to use. They do keep the icing from spilling out of the top and just enough pressure on the bag. Easy to use after 2 initial uses. 100% would purchase again.

I mostly chose this product because there were only 12 in the package (unlike most other sellers who sold 40, 60, or 90 in a pack - who needs that many?!) and I consider Wilton to be a reputable brand. I was concerned that they may not be tight enough to stop royal icing seeping past with pressure during piping if they are easy enough to get in place. Worries, thus far, have been allayed as I can easily tighten them by pulling on the anchor and there is enough friction to hold everything suitably in place.

Putting one of these on the end of an icing bag makes it faster and less messy when cake decorating cakes or cookies. They go on nice and tight if you wrap it around twice and they keep the icing from coming out the back end of the bag. It saves time with not having to be so careful how much icing you put in each bag and how you squeeze it. They come off easily when done to be used over and over. I love these and also the bar style that snaps down onto a folded bag. Great products for cake and cookie decorating!
