I was interested in this lounge set for comfort mostly -- I actually wasn't thinking I would wear it outside the house much. I thought it was sort of a rayon material, like another lounge set that I have. When this arrived I was so pleasantly surprised that it is SO NICE. The quality is like a sweater. A thin sweater, but a sweater no less. Very soft (not scratchy at all), fairly thick, and a nice rich black. The off-white waist tie breaks it up a bit if you like that, but i honestly think it looks fine without it too. The top can be worn outside the shorts, or tucked into the front, and it looks good either way depending on the look you're wanting. It's SUPER comfortable as well. The shorts are not micro-short at all, which is perfect for me as I don't want to wear super short shorts (I'm in my mid-50s and just not into that anymore). The small fits great with lots of extra room to spare -- for reference I'm 5'6" and 130 lbs. This set looks great with a pair of Birkenstocks, or just some simple open toe slides, or tennis shoes. It's a perfect outfit to lounge around the house in, but as stated in the description it would be a fantastic travel outfit because it's so ridiculously comfortable and non-fussy. It seems like it will hold up really well with regular washing. Even though it is sweater-like, it's not a shrinkable type fabric and it doesn't require a lot of extra care -- just wash and wear and it's good to go. I think this is a fantastic value and am looking forward to getting tons of use out of it this summer!

I normally wear a medium but wanted a little more slim fit. I am glad I sized down since this naturally has a loose fit, a medium would have swallowed me lol. The small provides a loose fit but thankfully not oversized. Regardless, the shorts come with an adjustable waist tie, so it’s really about how you want this fit. 🪡🧵 Material is Primarily polyester. Very soft and breathable; a great set for humid weather. The material isn’t thin and thank goodness it is Not see through! Has a nice weight to it, so it’s also not easily blown in the wind. 😌 Quality is decent! Initially, there was quite a bit of loose threads and shedding right out of the package. However, washing this set twice on a cold water, quick wash, setting, removed a lot of the excess material. I use wool dryer balls, and all of the loose fibers practically covered them. However, after the second wash, I was able to run my fingers without the clothes fibers shedding. 🫧 Washing I would recommend washing alone first to ensure no pilling or color transfers to other items. Cold setting is recommended! Washed well, but again wash separately first. ✨ Overall, this 2 piece set is a good lounging wear choice. Can be dressed for hanging out, or simply lounging around the house.
