Anyone recommend the drawing board?

I love this drawing board! It's bigger than I realised from the description, but I like that. It is solid, moves into position easily, sturdy, I also use this as a desk easel for painting. The band secures my ref image & colour wheell etc, leaving so much room for my canvas, pastelmat or paper & the chunky lip at the bottom is ideal for pencils, eraser.

No, it is not hollow, and it is quite sturdy and has some weight to it.

Is this board suitable for children?

Yes, it can be used for children.
