These have always been and still are worthwhile, aren't perfect, but they are probably the best.

We built a "Habitat for Humanity" type house for a deserving family. I did the plumbing, and wanted it to meet code. It wasn't "Habitat for Humanity", but was with the Buckner organization, and was done on the south Texas border.

Learned a lot from this. Probably couldn't have replumbed my house without it.It does not note the UPC requirement that toilet vents be at least 2"--I had to redo mine between this and the County inspector not catching it in my drawing.

I liked this guide because it was very comprehensives and laid out in a manner that was user friend with tables what you could use for pipe horizontal and vertical for the different sizes and pictures. It mad it very clear. A picture tells a thousand words. Code text is really just a thousand words that are very unclear.Worth the money. I bought the complete code for building and electrical. Only down fall is I am in Canada so would look up that specific thing for my provincial codes, it made it easier to under stand when I googled that specific thing. Most of them were the same as they go by international codes as well.

I was expecting more in depth information pertaining to rough in plumbing. Very entry level information.
