The only downside is that once you use all the helium you have to throw the tank away. Otherwise it works just as good if not exactly like the ones you see at any dollar store. Pricey-BUT...if you're wanting to blow up a good bit of balloons, who wants to take them all to a store, to stand in line & wait while they blow up fifty-eleven balloons, and charge you over a $1 PER BALLOON(especially if you don't buy balloons from said store) when you could've just ordered this tank. And even if you don't think you need as much helium, there's always a birthday, anniversary, or some celebration that you could put it to use later.

I was a little concerned with the other reviews when I bought this. Not sure what to think about the others but here's my experience. I received this tank timely and the packaging was just fine. When I pulled the tank out of the box I did think I got duped (empty tank) because I've never bought a helium tank before. I was expecting the weight to be like what my propane tanks are like. Was not so. This tank does feel empty upon pulling it out of the box, but I've filled several balloons with it so far and it's working perfectly. A little more detail though: the plastic shut off valve people are complaining about - I have no problem with. It works. Enough said. Turn the knob on only when you are ready to use the tank, then shut it off. On the balloons: I bought some balloons from the dollar store where you can insert a nozzle in them then the slit in the bottom of the balloon seals itself when you press on it after the balloon is filled with helium. I think this detail has much to do with people complaining about balloons falling down after 1 day. I did a "test run" with one of the aforementioned balloons and the balloon was in the air for well over a week. I will buy this tank again. I have zero problems with it.

This was a complete waste of money. The helium ratio is so low the balloons didn’t stay afloat for 2 hours. Wanted this to be a surprise for my son’s birthday. I stayed up until 4:30am using the helium and attaching streamers. 6:30am I come downstairs to be able to video his reaction and EVERY single balloon was on the floor. I’m pretty upset I spent $70 on something that didn’t work. I wish you better. Go to dollar store.

We used these tanks for a huge community event in which we anticipated inflating hundreds of balloons. I purchased enough to inflate 600 balloons (based on the advertised "approximately 50" balloons per tank). We used up all the helium before our balloons ran out, but based on our balloon size, I believe we fell within the "approximately 50" category. The only negative aspect of these tanks is that when the helium starts to get low in the tank, it takes a long time to fill a single balloon.

Very easy to use. Was able to blow up about 50 balloons. Definitely follow instructions in inflating balloons an hour before your party. About 5 hours later the latex balloons started to lose height but the Mylar balloons a week later are still holding strong. Haven’t disposed of but assume it will be easy to recycle/dispose of. If not, will update this review. Great buy, can’t go wrong especially if you want to make a little kid’s birthday party special!!

I have purchased this exact helium tank from party supply stores and this one just doesn't measure up. It didn't work very well (air came out slowly and most of my balloons didn't float) and there seemed to be very little in the tank. Usually, I can go for about 6 months on one tank but this time it lasted 3 months. Seemed used or something.

Worked great for me. I filled 10 large balloons and still have helium left. I was concerned about the negative reviews saying that balloons filled with this helium didn't float well. And then the first balloon I filled barely floated. It stayed 4 feet off of the floor, but couldn't lift the whole ribbon into the air. The next two balloons were the same. I regretted my purchase. But then I filled the next balloon as full as I could, to be sure. It floated nicely. I went back and filled the others as full as I could and they too floated nicely. They all stayed on the ceiling for about 10 days. A friend of mine told me to be sure to buy foil balloons, not rubber ones which lose their helium after just one day, so I did. This product is nothing as described It's intended for 50 balloons 🎈, however, the helium tank only blew up 10 medium sized balloons Very disappointing 😞

The tank arrived as promised, However, the tank is either empty or has a defective valve.. I will return the tank for refund.
