The ukulele arrived with the neck broken. But had the neck not been broken, it was--according to my music teacher son--of such poor quality one could not even be taught to play on it.

The item arrived in good condition. It sounds terrible, but is fine for our 2-year old. The strings are not in the correct order, meaning the thickness does not descend from thickest to thinnest, but the top string is thick, the next one is thin, and then the 3rd is thick and the 4th is thin. The strings buzz when pressed on the fretboard, etc.But as I said, this is for our two year old who is not a professional musician, and it is cheap...so you get what you pay for. It looks fine and it makes our toddler happy and that's what matters.

I bought this for a five year old because he loves the turquoise color. I think it looks even prettier in person, almost pastel.Seems decent enough for a kid or a beginner to play with. It comes with a generic soft case so if you go camping, you can take it with you easily.It took us quite some time to tune it. And it does require constant tuning which is annoying but it’s like that with plastic strings and with ukuleles especially in the beginning. So hopefully after playing this for a while, it will hold tunes better.If you don’t have a tuner, download this app GuitarTuna, it’s awesome.In short, for the price this is a pretty good starter ukulele for kids.
