Yes. The inside pockets are at the bottom on either side of the abdomen. They don't look finished, but they are there. They are not died as the dye would rub onto your clothing underneath.

I have washed mine and it did not shrink. Maybe if washed with hot water and dried on high heat it might shrink a little. Mine is high quality and it was prewashed when I received it.

I'm 5'8 and have a 38" chest. Normally wear small, but should I go medium or large on this?

Maybe the jackets fit differently 6 years ago when others answered this question. I'm also 5'8 and 38-40 inch chest. I recently ordered both the small and medium to try them on. Turns out the small fit the best with a thin shirt or sweatshirt under it. With that being said, I haven't washed the jacket yet, so hopefully I don't shrink it

inconsistent sizing from perfect to terrible.

I am a 5’5, 125lb male ordering 3 XS (extra small) black jackets. Their sizing is incredibly inconsistent. One was perfect, the other was much bigger, shoulders drooping, sleeves falling to my fingertips. The last was in between. Their quality control is terrible. You have to play the lottery, order 3 (or more), and return the ones you don't want. They also changed their button material/coating, feels cheaper.

Size up for a comfortable fit

I my opinion you better size up for a good fit. I’m 147 lbs, 5’8”, waist 30 in jeans had bought a small and was to small. The jacket would fit tight when closed mid way, sleeves were short. I ordered a medium and fit just right. Washed it and threw it in the dryer, it shrunk a bit to the right size. Recommend sizing up.
