Maybe too soon to tell
I purchased this to clone a lavendar plant that I have and would like to do mass planting of. I took my cuttings and put them in the cloner in mid September. It's November 3rd today. About 12 of the original 36 cuttings are still alive and some have even bloomed, but not a single one has rooted. I'll try again with spring cuttings but so far it hasn't done what I wanted it for.

Easy system to learn!
I was about to drop $200+ on a cloning system that was a "great deal" but before taking the plunge, I decided to look at other options a bit more - and I'm glad I did!First off, lets just put it out there: all these systems are a box/bucket with a pump at the bottom that recirculates/sprays water in/on your soon-to-be-rooting cuttings. Knowing this - it was easier for me to take a chance on a brand I never heard of. If the tech is sound, the device should be sound. In my view, this device is perfectly capable of putting out very healthy clones.Second, most of the trouble is "user error". You can't just drop cuttings in week after week and expect it to run maintenance free. You wouldn't like re-drinking the same water week after week. Neither do the plants. Its important to keep the water "clean" every few weeks and to drop in some hydrogen peroxide to inhibit algae. I just add a capful every few days and it seems to do the trick with no algae or "slime".I don't know if this matters much, but as someone who likes soil gardening, I chose to use the aeroponic option. It seemed easier for me to have the cuttings go from aeroponic to soil, but DWC may be just as fine an option. The cuttings seem to *slightly* stress after transplanting to soil, but after a few days they are robust as they ever were.Another point - if you want to use the asterisk shaped inserts for as many cuttings as you like, be sure to either transplant after roots show *somewhat* or expect to spend some time very carefully untangling thick roots from each other. I'm OK with the untangling, but impatience here will likely cause a lot of torn roots. So, if you are ready for a great device to speed up and somewhat simplify your cloning, this is a fantastic, economical device.

Didn't come with everything it shows and cheaply made

Sure fire way to clone.
This hydro is easy to use and works well. Takes more time to start clones than plugs and rockwool way, but it always works and you never lose a clone. This is the best way to clone if you need a "cloning for dumbies course".

Meh
It is what it is...Literally a polished DIY product. It ain't worth $80. Buy this if you are lazy and don't feel like spending an afternoon drilling holes in a plastic lid.

Quality product! Easy to Use.
I was shopping around for a product to help me make cuttings. I found the cloning devices and was sold on the idea. Then when I found the Xfactor DWC 24 Cloner I was truly excited. I ordered it right away. It was a lot nicer than I expected and ready to go out of the box. I quickly read through the instruction sheet and ran outside with my pruners. After about 7 days I had a little problem. Since I am extremely new to cloning I was not sure what to do to correct the jelly like substance on my cuttings. I emailed the company and they quickly responded with a solution to correct my situation. I could not be happier with my decision to purchase the Xfactor. Great product and Great customer service.

great product
The product works great, and it arrived within days . I was actually surprised by the high production rate, and it gave me a great 99 percent. I was actually surprised by the high rate of clones that lived . But not only did they live they thrived. I would. definitely recommend it to friends. Great price great product ! At the end of the information pamphlet that comes with it there's a section called tips and tricks , I did and I did what it said and added a air pump to it and it was a great improvement where one really wasn't needed it worked great before and even better now great tip!
