Finding Schedule 40 PVC for actual use in lengths under 10 feet is surprisingly difficult. Furniture-grade PVC is Schedule 40 as well, and short lengths of that are easy enough to find — but it's not rated or intended for plumbing, conduit, or structural use. If you need the real thing in a short length, big box stores and smaller hardware stores don't stock short cuts, and buying a full 10-foot stick just to use 17 inches of it is wasteful and awkward to transport. After striking out locally, I turned to Amazon and found exactly what I needed.These arrived in their own purpose-made box — not tossed in a bag or bubble-wrapped like an afterthought. Both ends were cleanly cut and the lengths were exactly as listed, no trimming required. I used them as stand-offs on an antenna mast, and they fit the application perfectly.What really stands out about this listing is the size selection — diameters from 1/2" to 6" in a variety of lengths. That kind of variety makes this a genuinely useful source for small-quantity PVC needs.Fair warning on price: the convenience comes at a cost. What I paid for two 17" lengths is roughly what a full 10-foot pipe runs at the hardware store. If you need short lengths and have no use for the remainder, the math still works in your favor.

It is indeed 2" Schedule 40. Both came very clean (no scratches) and well packaged.
