It works as it should. The only feedback I would suggest to the manufacturer would be to consider where the hooks are positioned. Maybe think about on the outside of each side.

Great item

After reading the reviews I was looking forward to receiving this retractable line. However I was really disappointed. It’s quite flimsy and you need to wrap the quite thin line round the anchor twice for it to grip. Even then it sags when the washing is pegged to it. Maybe because of its shape (rectangular not circular,)it is quite cumbersome and does not fit snuggly to the wall when not in use. When its fully extended to my 15 metre post there is not enough line to then wrap round the anchor. In my opinion its a lot of money to waste, when there are more robust ones out there. I will add that I can send it back, however it is now mounted on the wall by a handyman. I cannot pay again to have it taken down and returned and another one mounted.

I’m not sure this would be classed as heavy duty. It’s plastic, with plastic hooks for the washing line. I struggle to get the line tight enough. A bit fiddly.

Does the job.

Easy to fit and strong enough for heavier items like bedding.
