Very comfortable. Sturdy base, most firmest shoes I've bought a little bit more than I was wanting to spend but worth it for the quality.

I've used Asics trainers for the last 30 odd years, but recently changed to Sketchers as I'm older and slower these days. I thought I'd invest in these Asics Gel-Venture which are designed for trail running, but I'll be mostly walking in them. I do like the change on the heel, which is slightly thicker than your average trainer and offers better support, despite them still being lightweight. The colour scheme is nice and overall appearing is pleasing on the eye. I've done around 15 miles in them so far over a few days and they are comfortable to wear. My only slight grip is sizing as they feel slightly tighter than my old Asics size 9, so I should probably have gone for a 9.5. I just have to wear really thin socks with them that's all. Overall though, really happy with them and a pretty decent price too.

Great fit- true to sizing....always a risk with on line purchase. Not a ridiculous price! Good quality and look durable.
