Mallet finger people beware, this product is not what you need. This splint is comfortable (enough), but starts to smell after only a day or two. You can't shower with it, which means it either has to be bagged in plastic or removed for showering. If removed and you bend your finger, you may have to restart treatment. If you don't remove it, it gets sweaty and stinky REAL quick. I'm now shopping for Oval-8 or a stack splint, and I would recommend you do too!

Made in China, not worth the $21 I paid for it but it does work. Probably no better or worse than the cheaper ones. Will have to see.Update, 10/10/19. Will be returning this splint within the next couple days. Too small to comfortably fit on my finger and I am afraid it's going to tear. More importantly though is that it irritates the skin and has painfully woken me up the past 2 nights. So much so that once awake I take it off and don't put back on.

It only really helps to be able to type easier than the other splints. However it doesn't protect your finger from being jammed again, because too much of the top part is exposed.
