Handmade Carbon Steel butcher serbian Cleaver Chopper Kitchen Chef Knife Rosewood Handle DW5511

I've only used it once so far but it looks and feels like a good quality knife. I was able to cut up chicken wings with ease. the handle was comfortable while using and the blade was super sharp! It was made and shipped from Pakistan and came oiled and wrapped in plastic. The sheath is a nice added touch as well. Overall I am happy with the quality and price of this knife and I would recommend it to a friend.

Knife came in very sharp oiled to prevent rust in shipping very impressed. Feels good in the hand I look forward to cooking with this knife in the kitchen. The leather sheath is also a nice touch and good quality and pleasing to the eye over all this know exceeded my expectations and I would recommend this knife to anyone!!!

Only after using this product maybe a dozen times I noticed the blade had cracked. Believe this is probably a casting defect and not an issue with this product line. Loved the way it felt when using the knife. Would like to know how to get a replacement for it.

Beautiful knife, razor sharp right out of the box. I bought this one specifically for the handle, It came exactly like the pictures. Chops and serves veggies like a dream. Very happy with this knife.

I was surprised at how light weight the knife is overall. I expected a bit more weight with being called a "cleaver".It came oiled up and packaged well. No handle or blade edge defects that I can tell. But it seems to be a bit rusty, very dirty. When I was wiping off the oil and the sides of the knife it was super messy, and not just an oil mess. SEE PHOTOS, that was a second paper towel I had to use. It still needs some major work or cleaning before I would use it for any food prep even butchering a deer, which I have done a lot of. It must have been stored for a long time in its plastic bag with the oil. And yes I do know carbon steel will rust easily if not kept oiled up well.A couple other issues for me is the poor fit in the sheath. The sheath is to big, it is very loose and the knife moves back and forth in the sheath and as you can see in the photos that movement lets part of the blade stick out, which did already give me a small cut on my thumb. If I was going to carry this on my belt there is no way to carry it vertically. The belt loops only allow for wearing it horizontally. The retainer strap with the button does get in the way of drawing the knife out of its sheath. I will say the blade edge is fairly sharp, not to bad. I'd like to give this knife more stars, but there are to many issues right off the bat. Not really a knife I would keep or use in the kitchen unfortunately.

Steel softer than a butter knife, won't hold an edge, 2 days short of a month to receive, and not very sharp. Will not be buying again!!! Fits nice in the hand but that is all.

First of all, I LOVE this knife. The feel in the hand, the look, and performance all add up to a real solid blade. Unfortunately when I first received the knife, the handle had already begun to separate a bit from the tang, and after 10 days of use, a piece has already chipped away from the top of the handle. Really hoping the seller will help to resolve this is a quick and easy manner, at which point this bad boy gets 5 stars all day long
