Lower Cost Replacement for OEM Tape
The savings over using this tape over authentic Brother branded tape are obvious. For the 18mm size material the cost is approximately 1/3 that of the OEM tape (actually 37.5 percent). That means one can produce three times as many labels for the same cost. Clearly, Brother's sales model is to sell their printers at very low or no profit and produce their revenue with highly priced supplies. These tapes work perfectly in my Brother PT-P700 USB Printer. The colors are bright and the tape feeds correctly. The only difference between this product and the OEM material that I've noticed is that the waxed-paper backing on this material can sometimes be slightly more difficult to remove than that on the OEM Brother tape. Otherwise, this tape looks great and sticks as well as the authentic Brother tape.The product is nicely packaged in sealed plastic envelopes with (2) tape cartridges per box.. The printed instructions on the packaging do have a few typos and grammatical errors, but the tape works fine.I usually like to support OEM products, but the cost differential here is simply too much to justify using authentic OEM products when this material works as well.
