Lanier Gold Sequins Bridesmaid Dresses Formal Evening Gowns …

I had to come up with a dress for a formal military function. After scouring all the malls and boutiques, I could not find something that wasn't too "girly" or "old lady" I decided on a whim to come to Amazon. I found this dress and similar dresses from other vendors. I chose LanierWedding because of the reviews and the pictures. After contacting the seller with a question of getting a custom made gown versus "off the rack" I chose to get it custom made. I had my friend measure me just like the pictures (NOT THE AMAZON GUIDE) said to do. The seller was super quick to reply to all of my questions, and my dress even arrived ahead of schedule.Listen, this dress fit so well, I could wear a regular bra and undies. Yep, it was so flattering I did not need Spanx. I even tried it on with Spanx and realized they were doing nothing but making me uncomfy. I'm always leary of buying clothes online, especially since my size/shape is really tough to shop for—plus size, fairly straight up-and-down, short-waisted—but I was so pleased with the fit of this dress and how quickly it arrived. I provided my measurements for a custom fit, and they really did a beautiful job with the accuracy and the quality of the sewing. The lining is substantial and soft, the sequins aren't as scratchy as some others are, and the overall style is really flattering on a body like mine, where it's otherwise hard to define the waist or hide the underarm "pillows" that us plus-size ladies often have. I was also pleased that the dress didn't have that chemical/factory smell that sometimes accompanies clothes from overseas. It arrived in good condition and ready to wear. The sequins shed pretty easily, but that's to be expected with a dress like this—I don't feel it takes away from the overall quality. I think the idea of having bust cups sewn into the dress is good, but they would probably work best for someone with very little up-top; it's a little too flimsy and small to work well for me, but thankfully, the cut of the dress hides a standard bra pretty well, so that's what I'll be wearing with this dress. My only real complaint—and the reason I didn't give this dress 5 stars—is that I had ordered the champagne color, but the actual color was closer to what the yellow looks like online (more bright gold than neutral). I was disappointed about that, but it'll still work out for my purposes (it's the foundation of my wedding gown). Overall, I'm really happy with my purchase, and I would buy this dress again in another color.

I custom ordered the champagne color of this dress for a friend and it was perfect! The seller was extremely cooperative, patient, responsive & helpful. There are other sellers selling this dress, but this is the ONLY seller I trust. He even agreed to add three-quarter sleeves to the dress and agreed to make the V-neck not as low, so as to hide some cleavage. Other sellers were charging extra for customization, but this seller worked with me and my budget and kindly made these adjustments for no extra charge! I just ordered the dress, sent my friends measurements & It came out perfectly! The dress is lovely! You won't regret buying this dress from LanierWedding! They are truly the best!!

I ordered this dress for a wedding that I am in, and it is absolutely gorgeous. It arrived ahead of time and was beautiful when I got it. It fit as expected, unlike some Bridesmaid dresses that run quite small. The color was a bit off from what I expected based on the name of the color, but it actually did match the picture of the color pretty well. So, if you're looking to match a specific color/shade, definitely go by the pictures, as they seem to be very accurate. The material is very sturdy and it is beautifully made. The wedding isn't until December 31st, but the few people I have showed it to so far have loved it. And the company is AMAZING to work with! When I contacted them to ask about the coloring of the dresses (since the shade I got was a little off from what the rest of the girls were wearing), they worked with me to determine what color/shade would which would most closely match, and they are working on getting a replacement out to me ASAP, making it before the wedding date. Absolutely amazing company with amazing products!

I wore it for a fundraiser gala and it was PERFECT!! Fit nicely. The only complaint I have is that the armpits are a bit scratchy but other than that it was perfect. I plan on cutting and sewing a slit in the side because it was heavy and a little warm for me but I plan on wearing this again next year. Or at least ordering from this company who asks for exact measurements which was fabulous! I am 5'4" and they asked for my height with my heels. It was still a couple inches on the long side but I would prefer that over being too short. I typically wear a US size 22/24. And the 24 fit great

I'm so pleased with this dress and this seller is wonderful to work with. I originally ordered a size 4 in this dress, but due to recently having twins, it fit fine everywhere except my bust. I contacted the seller and Karen was very responsive and told me to ship it back and have a custom one made. I sent in my measurements and was very nervous about it fitting me/receiving it in a timely manner as this is my matron of honor dress for my sister's wedding in June. I just received it today (3 months ahead of time) and it fits like a glove!!! I'm so impressed! I would highly recommend this dress and seller.
