This ash canoe seat is 10” wide x 34" long. The 34” seat has a 10" x 13" seating area, and the rail centers are 8-1/2". They are assembled with mortise and tenon joinery. Our clear varnish is UV-resistant. The 1-1/2" polypropylene webbing makes this seat a durable and weather-resistant option, even when exposed to harsh elements for extended periods of time, with less care and maintenance than a traditional caned seat.

because looks good & was able to fit it in our Wenonah
I don't believe the wood is ash, because the grain is different than the originals. Believe it is maple. Not a biggie, because looks good & was able to fit it in our Wenonah.

Great product. Cost less than the materials to re-cane the old seat. The width between front and read frames is smaller than my original but there is still room to drill the holes and properly mount.
