Great quality pitcher!
***UPDATE*** I ordered two more of these for my in-laws because they loved mine so much! They sometimes have a hard time getting around and are in bed quite a lot. Since these pitchers are so large and keep beverages cool, they don't have to get out of bed as often. They also like the bendable straw. Great product for all ages! ****************** I received one of these Whirley Works pitchers the last time that I was in the hospital which was about 7 years ago. I've used it everyday since then. The top was finally getting a little loose and I had a couple of big spills because the lid wasn't staying on so it was time for a new one. This one is a slightly different design than my old one but it's perfect and exactly what I was looking for! I like how it holds 32 oz. so I can fill it up and work on the computer for hours before having to fill it up again. The top stays on very tightly and I like using the straw. One of my favorite things about it is the handle. It's so much easier to carry and I don't worry about it slipping out of my hand like other insulated cups. I also have cats so this keeps their nose out of my drink and I don't have to worry about them rubbing up against it and spilling it. It also shows the amount of ounces on both sides which is handy for mixing powdered shakes, etc. Since it's insulated, it keeps my drink cool until I'm ready for another one. I highly recommend these Whirley Works pitchers! They work great and last a long time!

A rare bargain
This is a great, big, wonderful and INEXPENSIVE water mug. I'm not sure why the listing calls it a pitcher - there's no spout and it's obviously set up for one person to drink out of rather than to pour drinks for multiple people. I was looking to replace my old sport bottle. I had a couple of $20-$30 candidates in my shopping cart when I stumbled across this little jewel. I couldn't be happier. This "pitcher" is much better built than I had expected considering the price. It's sturdy, the handle is not only very solid but it's actually large enough for my oversized paws. The lid is likewise built to last. It's double walled so it keeps your choice of beverage cold for quite a while, its wide base makes it very stable, and it holds an entire quart. It's got a sort-of-sealable lid. It's not completely waterproof, but close enough to prevent spills. It doesn't have any large, annoying logos on it. It does have gradations in milliliters and ounces - they're not nearly so annoying but you probably wouldn't want to serve guests with it, either. One nit: the inner liner isn't completely set into the outer portion, so there's a groove that runs around the lip. You don't notice it while the lid's on - but in the unlikely event that you're drinking from it without the lid it is distracting. I expect I'll have to pay attention while washing it lest it gather dirt. It's not a big enough deal to knock any stars off, though. I suspect it's a manufacturing defect - this one just didn't get set down enough - yours will probably fit just fine.

Nice quart mug!
I've kept a quart mug handy for many years. Recently, I started to notice my old one was giving me a chemical taste with certain beverages, so I decided to look for a more modern, non-toxic quart mug. Found it! The 'Medegen Roommates Pitcher' is a nifty semi-transparent, double-walled, air-insulated mug, made of #5 food-grade polyproprylene, BPA-free. It's fairly well-made and well-designed, though could be improved a bit. Beware, this is not really "medical" hardware, and it's not a "pitcher." It's a MUG made by Whirley Drinkworks, model TM-32 (says so right on the bottom). Same people that make all those soft-drink and sports-branded mugs. $15 with "free" shipping is about right, considering a Whirley TM-32 retails at $6.52 and ~$5.50 usps priority mail and a box, so I'm not complaining. Pros: The ~1/8th-inch air-gap insulation is effective, and smaller than the bulbous styrene-filled other brands; doesn't sweat at all. The handle is generous for large hands The top snaps on securely and works well (but see below) The semi-transparency is nice to see the level remaining The graduations are nice if you monitor your fluids intake; also makes a handy 4-cup measure for the kitchen Well-made Whirley USA product No nasty BPA or chemical leeching, flavor-neutral, even with strong/acidic/warm liquids Minor Cons: Drinking hole is a D-shape that leaks around straw, should be round Supplied corrugated straw sucks against the bottom, you need to slice it off at an angle The lift tab on the edge of the top should be above the handle so you can pry it up with your thumb - they put it at 12-o'clock position where you have to use two hands, which results in a big shake and splash. No, it doesn't fit cup holders, but you shouldn't expect that in a quart mug. To-Do: Rotate the top closed Snap on the top with the lift-ear above the handle where your thumb can deal with it Drill a 3/8" hole at the 6-o'clock Insert ~10" of 3/8" Tygon tubing (bottom cut 45 degrees) Now it'll be almost leak-free, and the top will be easy to remove.

Excellent quality water pitcher
I bought this for my mother who is in a nursing facility. It is exactly what she needs: large size for good hydration, a sturdy handle for arthritic hands, insulated to keep water ice cold, a cover that snaps on solidly. Really couldn't ask for better!

Great Quality Jug; Possibly False Advertising?
I got this jug to help keep me hydrated at my desk. It serves this purpose pretty well. The units on the jug are in both ounces and milliliters. The lid itself snaps on rather than screws on. The jug is NOT water tight and simply has a little sliding lid that will cover up the holes when the straw is removed. The insulation on the jug does prevent sweat from forming on the sides but it does NOT keep the water cold as long as some water bottles I have. My only other complaint is that the jug still has a faint plastic smell after several washings. It should be noted that the jug does NOT make the water taste like plastic. Strangly enough, this jug is sold as product made by "Medegen" with the model number "h206-01" but on the bottom of the jug you can clearly see that it is made by a company called "Whirley Drink Works" and has a model number "TM-32". So is this false advertising? I'm not sure. I looked up the model made by Whirley Drink Works and it is also BPA free so ultimately I don't care.

Medegan Roommates Insulated Pitcher Review
The Medegan Roommates Insulated Pitcher is great for anyone who is looking for a large and convenient vessel for their cold beverages. I am currently 22 weeks pregnant and trying to make sure I drink plenty of water, which has been no easy task. Normal glasses only hold about 12-16 oz. of water, which means I am constantly refilling my glass. Plus, I have two large dogs who are constantly knocking things over and a cat who likes to "investigate" items resulting in floating cat hair in my water. Yuck! So, I started looking for an alternative to my usual glass. After much research, I purchased this pitcher from Amazon. Now, it's the only cup I use. Pros Reasonable price Double-walled means no water rings on my furniture Doesn't spill if it gets knocked over, the lid is easy (but not too easy) to pop off, & the lid prevents "stuff" from getting in my drink Insulated so it stays cold for a reasonably long period of time Handle makes it convenient to carry Measurement lines -> Handy if you like to use drink mixes ***Does not have that gross "plastic taste" that some plastic cups have*** Cons Too big for my car's cup holder (however, it is sturdy enough that it does just fine on my passenger seat without tipping over) Color - kind of boring, would have liked options Wish the lid made more of a "popping" sound when it is all the way on, there have been a few times when it wasn't quite on all the way Overall, I am extremely happy with this pitcher. I am hoping to invest in a couple more in the future and foresee using this a lot when the baby finally gets here and I begin breastfeeding.

Great mug!
I got my first one during a hospital stay in 2021 and loved it. I kept it for almost 2 years before I decided it was time for a new one. This was the exact same high quality. I prefer my water at room temperature so I can't speak on how long it'll hold ice and keep your water cold, but it is perfect for me. I keep it on my nightstand too and know if it gets knocked over, the top will stay securely on!
