So far I’m happy with it. After falling off a small plastic step stool, I needed something more substantial. It’s heavier than I realized, but the handle is very helpful and it doesn’t wobble or slide on the floor. I just wont be trying to reach things quite as high anymore. Lower shelves for safety purposes.

This is an excellent product and will be very useful to me getting into bed as I have arthritis in my hips and a high mattress. Please be aware that assembly will require screwdrivers, an Allen wrench and possibly a drill in order to tighten the screws. You may also find that you need two people for assembly.

I have ordered other medical equipment from this manufacturer (Vaunn) before, and have always been pleased with the quality. I ordered this step stool for my mother after her knee replacement, because she was unable to get into her bed. Between the high bed frame and her deep mattress, she was having a hard time lifting her leg up high enough from the floor to climb into bed. This step stool was a godsend for her. It came unassembled, but was fairly simple to put it together myself for her. It’s very well built, and feels nice and stable on her bedroom floor. The floorboard is rubberized to prevent slipping, and wide enough that she can very easily step up and not have to worry about having enough room to stand comfortably. The handle is sturdy and gives her extra stability when stepping upon it, and she feels safe using it to get in and out of bed independently. She was very pleased with this purchase, and I’m happy that it’s given her some independence back.

I just put it together and it's awesome. Very helpful fo reach thing. The only thing I didn't like was that it was loose form bar but that's wasy it's comes. But other tha. That I love it very steady and helpful.

Good sturdy product. I will be using this step stool in the dark so I need something I can trust to help me get on and off the bed. So five stars for the product itself. The assembly instruction sheet is a different story. Instruction 1 of the sheet states “use 5 x Long Screws” and Instruction 2 states “using 4 x Short Screws”. This is wrong. Its backwards. Switch the long screws with the short screws for the correct assembly. I suppose this is a “minor” issue for most folks, but, I’m too old for this and it delayed my using the stool.

I bought this to assist my weakened husband to get up into our raised bed. He felt a lot safer holding my hand and other hand on the raised handle of step stool-- it worked well. It is easy to install and is heavy duty and sturdy.

I love it. It gives me a little boost. I am on the short side so this really helps. My husband wanted me to do more checking at other retailers, but I mostly ignored him. The quality was obvious. I was vindicated when I noticed both my surgeon and the X-ray tech have this very one. I advise anyone to get the add-on handle. I can move the stool with one hand with it. I could not do the cheap plastic ones because I am elderly and can't afford to fall.

Purchased for my elderly mother that is having difficulty getting in and out of bed. So far this product is helping her. It is very sturdy and well made. She has LVP flooring and it does not slide like her past stepping stool. It was well packaged, the instructions are clear, and we recieved all necessary required parts for assembly. Tools are needed but, not included.I used a phillips head screwdriver and a small crescent wrench (did not have the proper socket) to assemble.
