Car Mechanic Simulator (PS4) - PlayStation 4

It’s a good game but only towards car/truck enthusiasts. I work on trucks and fix them up. I thought of buying the game cuz I thought would be cool to see how well the simulation was. Not gonna lie pretty detailed. Played it on the hardest level to see how much I would know on fixing up a car. Pretty fun just know it’s not for people who aren’t into cars and shizz. It’s slow at first but after you rank up and rack in money it’s pretty fun building your own builds in game. Wish they had like old mini trucks in game would be cool. But other than that pretty decent game

The tutorial on this is practically useless. Maybe I'm just stupid but in the interests of saving people some time and frustration I wanted to state what to many people may be obvious, which is that you must walk over to the computer and buy the new parts in order to replace them in the cars. If you buy the wrong part you can't return it, you have to sell it back at a loss. Also, do yourself a favor and turn the music down in settings before you start, most of it is awful. That having been said, if you like cars, be sure to give yourself lots of hours when you start because the game is actually really good and addictive...I think it is worth it just to learn the names of parts to talk to mechanics in real life.

I think this game is really interesting and loads of fun. If you want to learn about cars you can play in sandbox mode where you can buy anything you need and have all the tools. If you already know about cars, this game is just loads of fun. It's visually cool, informative and addictive. Totally recommend it

Its a satisfying game as far as building things go and stuff. However, it misses out on truly being a sim. Like, you can't loose 10mm sockets. The engines are missing a lot of components and features, like no fuse box, ignition coils missing wiring harnesses, batteries lacking cables. Fuel filters, air filter housings, and batteries just float. No hoses like there would be. Some things require you to undo brackets to remove, but you dont need to pop the hood to open it. Interior is too basic. No wiring, and you can only remove the seats and steering wheel in most cases. It's fun enough but really, there is no attention to detail at all. Even farming simulator is more involved.

My 11 year old son and his father have been spending a lot of time with this game. My son wanted it so he could work on cars like his daddy. To see the smile on my boys face as he works on the cars and learns about them and is able to show his dad what he can do makes this game totally worth it

The game may be okay but this retailer advertised the U.S. licensed version of the game. This retailer sent the European version and refuses to send the money back until I return the game. I am going to do a charge back on Amex and send the game to Amex. ShopvilleUSA can deal with Amex. I paid for an item as advertised and was fraudulently shipped a different item. And ShopvilleUSA gets to sit on my refund.

I bought this for my 12 year old grandson, rather than a shooting game. WE enjoy it!!! :) He calls me in to look at his finished project or we work on one together. It teaches him real mechanics of cars. Very good. Very proud to give him this and he is proud of himself :) awesome game!!

my review on this game is poor because i cannot figure on how to purchase a car and take the car to the garage and work on it and then take the car to a track to race so that is why i gave this game 2 starts
