Port Authority Women's Modern Stretch Cotton FullZip Jacket

I work backstage as a technician for theatre. On my latest show we are required to wear full length black sleeves. I overheat very easily and tried several different jackets and shirts with no success. I purchased this jacket based on the reviews and it's advertisement as lightweight. It is perfect. The material breathes and I no longer had problems with over heating. There are no pesky logos and the zipper is black to match the rest of the jacket, not silver or white like on many jackets. I have a very long torso and this is the first jacket I've found that fits lengthwise. i ordered my usual size and it is slightly bigger than most jackets on me. If I wanted a snugger fit I definitely would a size smaller, but as it is, this work great for my purposes. The pockets are deeper than I have seen on a hoodie of this variety and the touch of elastic around the waist is a nice touch. Overall exactly what I was looking for and for a great price.

I LOVE these sweaters. I have 4 of them, two navy blue, one black, and one turquoise. I bought my first one 4 years ago and over that time I managed to undo the sleeve hem on one arm, and it's faded a little, but it's still in excellent shape, and I still wear it at least once a week. I LOVE the longer length, as it covers my tummy area completely, and the fabric is so stretchy and soft, and none of them have ever had problems with pilling up or wearing out. If you're thinking about buying one of these, go for it! I wear a size 20 and the xxl is a good fit for me, but even a few years ago as a size 24 the xxl was still a comfortable fit.

Update: I have had theses hoodies (own 4) for over 3 years and they are still fitting and looking great. I wear them all the time.I am tall 5.10ft and it is hard to find long sleeved items that actually fit. I got these in the mail and was so happy to find them nice and long. One thing I am going to do is modify the pockets. If you sew down the one side, you can get two inside pockets. I love pockets in my things because I don't carry a purse. It would be great of the company would have just done it, but maybe they thought the extra two stitching would not be liked by customers. none the less, I am going to do it to mine.If you are tall...these are wonderful!!!

I have a brown jacket like this one and I love it because it's soft. However, the label was scratching my neck so I cut it out and with it, the name of the brand. After searching Google with some numbers from the secondary label at the hip, I was able to find the name Port Authority. It seems like a lot of trouble to go through for a jacket, but when you find something you like and you want another, I don't think what I did was too unreasonable.

Love this stretch jacket. This is the second one I have purchased. I have the XXL because this has stretch material in it and I don't like an extremely tight fit. I normally wear a XL or Large depending on the material. It holds up really well wash after wash. The majority of the time I air dry it, but I have put it in the dryer and have had no problems with it over shrinking. The colors don't fad as I have this in Navy and Black. The best part is, its extra length so it hangs past your waste. I am 5'8" and this hangs covering part of my hips.

First of all. There were no tags on this hoodie when I recieved it. Not entirely sure it was new. Second, the fit on this hoodie is definitely designed for an apple body type. If you are an hourglass or a pear shape, it's going to fit poorly. On mine, it is fitted from the waist down. From the waist up (including the arms) it is loose and frumpy. The front pockets are so poorly designed that it boggles the mind. They must have wanted to save a couple cents on fabric and thread, because the pockets extend only partway to the central zipper. They stop about an inch away from the zipper and a little half inch worth of stitching is all that is holding the pocket upright. As soon as you put anything in there, you get a very noticeable dip in the top seam of the front pockets. It looks ugly and it's poorly designed. I would love to return it, but it is almost comical how much they charge to ship back, and then there is a restocking fee on top of that. I'd get about $15 back. I'm going to have to do some diy tailoring to make this work to go out in public. I would not recommend this product.

this is a nice well made jacket. The material is soft and it is true to size. Its stylish, for a hoodie, a little longer at the bottom with no elastic. It doesn't look like I just came from the gym wearing a baggy sweatshirt. But be advised this is a very light weight jacket, more like a tee shirt than a sweatshirt. will need to layer for the ice cold air conditioner where I work.

This is the perfect light jacket. It is not your boyfriends hoodie. It is very flattering. I ordered a size up and was very happy. It has a nice shape and still not clingy. Very comfortable without being super baggy. It covers the seat of your pants. There is a slight amount of elastic at waist, but it just gives it shape. It is not like a waistband around pants. If you order your normal size it would feel very fitted if you like that look.It is super soft, stretchy cotton without feeling like compression exercise clothing, flattering fit, great layering jacket. This will be my go to jacket.

Deceived that it would cost $15.00 to return it and if i order a smaller size it would still cost me $15.00 for the delivery
