I was worried because I’d heard these kind of things can taste bitter and gross. However, this tastes great! It took a couple samples to adjust to having that much yeast flavor in my mouth (if you’ve never eaten straight up yeast, you may need to brace yourself for the first taste) but it didn’t taste bitter AT ALL. I’m taking it as a health supplement as well as trying to induce lactation. I add it to oatmeal and it just makes it taste and feel like a bread pudding or something which is fine. I can add it to smoothies and barely taste it. It’s definitely best in meals that involve cheese, meats, bread, beans and/or sauces. But to be perfectly honest, I can easily pour a scoop of this into my mouth, chew a little and swallow! It’s not a flavor I crave but it doesn’t taste bad at all. Definitely, definitely recommend! Just after a week of taking my skin seems to be clearing up, I have more energy, and while this wasn’t ever an issue for me it’s kept me super regular as a bonus. Can’t speak for its performance as a galactagogue yet but I’m optimistic! Definitely add this to your diet if you’d like an extra boost of vitamins and nutrients!

Before this product, I was struggling with my milk supply as I could only get 1.5 oz altogether from a session. It was very frustrating and I figured that maybe I was just a low capacity producer that would need to pump more times a day. With more sessions and more liquid intake, it didn't really help. But after buying this product, my supply has increased to being able to pump 2 - 2.5 oz from EACH boob, which is a major improvement and it's only been a week since I have been on this product. You will see some negative reviews about the taste, but it's not bad at all. I assume the other users might have used a lot of the powder (or too much) in their food. With this in mind, I just used the yeast powder in small increments so that it would not ruin the taste of the original food or drink. For example, I tried a half a teaspoon in my bowl of oatmeal, 2 tablespoons in a fruit smoothie (never noticed the difference in taste because of all the fruit), and I discovered it even tastes good with a cup of chocolate milk (you just have to mix a half teaspoon of the powder with a little bit of hot water before mixing it with the cold chocolate milk). I think as long as you find ways to spread the dosage into different things you consume each day, the taste is not noticeable. The positive reviews about the taste had helped me buy this product because they said other brands were horrible in taste. This one is not even bad at all in my opinion.

Product has expiry date remaining less than 6 months though the brewers yeast seems to be good.
